OK, I'm just going to whine for a little minute, and maybe it will make me feel better.

My two best friends have left today for Washington DC where they will be attending the La Leche League International conference. They'll be gone for a week.

My best cyber girl, Sophie, is off a big adventure and won't be back till Monday.

My old girlfriend, who I still see socially, left today for the Dominican Republic and won't be back for 2 months.

I'm looking ahead at a long, lonely weekend and I'm feeling a bit sorry for myself.

My weekends are often lonely, I'm afraid, but there are personal reasons why that is, but on top of that I am beset of late with concerns of a rather unpleasant nature, concerns about money. I hate worrying about money, it seems like such a silly little thing to be worried about, but it's necessary.

As for me, Carson is coming up here to visit this weekend, so that should be fun.

Still, my boyfriend will probably take off on me to play golf or go somewhere and not ever having a babysitter, I will be stuck at home. As all you parents know, taking a wild 4 1/2 year old anywhere isn't by any means relaxing.
