Logan

The director, James Mangold, is interested in being involved in a spinoff involving Laura (X-23). One problem something like that faces is that Dafne Keen is only 12. She has a lot of fans now after her performance. Going with someone older which will be a big temptation to have a more adult version of her character might not go over so well.

Logan: [as a noisy self-driving truck passes him on the highway] Motherfucking auto trucks!

Charles Xavier: Language, Logan. And you're screaming at a machine.

Logan: [about Laura] Oh, what? She can gut a man with her feet, but she can't hear a few naughty words?

Development of a spinoff may take a couple of years. So she has a chance to grow up a bit. The girl who plays Arya Stark was quite young. Seems to have handled it well. Although being a child star certainly has a huge downside if not handled well.

Logan was the best superhero movie I have ever watched and I am getting sick or superhero movies. The first sequence to the movie was beautifully done and the amount of fucks and fuckings that came out from his mouth was a blessing. I'm like thank god we finally have a full rated movie. Brilliant stuff and nice finish. I'll remember this movie for a long time.

Surprised to find which song, was waiting for me, at the end.

PS:

Some moments, were a marvel of emotional engineering.

*leaky eyes, and sobs*

I'm just still amazed they made a movie about Wolverine's bratty daughter.

*ducks*

I haven't watched it yet and only know the basics of any of the X-Men but I thought Wolverine was essentially immortal.

not really. last i checked he's still dead in the comics. also, he always aged, just very, very slowly.

also, he's a comic character so he can do whatever the editor says he can do.

Just saw it, damn good. Probably should've seen it on the big screen when it came out, but it plays great at home with the sound cranked and an adult beverage in yer hand. :D

If we're keeping it canon with the X-Men (cinematic) universe, there's some inconsistencies, but as a movie by itself, it's boss.
