Anyone know why I can't stay logged in?

I log in when I first get to the boards, but every single time I try to do something -- post a reply, start a thread, edit my profile etc. a screen pops up telling me I must log-in!!!
Also every board has at the bottom: you MAY NOT post, etc in that little box, even after I log-in!! I have been messing with this for a week and a half and am getting frustrated. I have reset cookies and a lot of other techie things on my pc with no improvement.

1: Cookies must be enabled

2: Go to your user CP and make sure both cookie options (auto-pogin and browese with cookies) are set to Yes.

3: Problem solved.

You keep getting logged out because you are taking more than 15 minutes between"board activity" -- ie requesting a page from the server. The Auto-login option will keep you logged in by logging you back in every time you go too long between pages.

It appears I found the problem. There is a built in firewall that was controlling cookies. It was set to allow direct cookies and block indirect cookies. Once I reset to allow all cookies the problem disappeared. I have no clue what indirect cookies are, but if others are having this problem, check this out.
