You've got an "Army medical pension" and no access to the VA?
Bullshit.
He does. He said so in another thread. Which why he gives two shits about a universal healthcare.

No. I'm Luk, toajam.
Yes, we all know your reliance on "dictionary definitions.
Yes, that's your selfish self-centered mindset. We agree to disagree on this, which by definition makes you wrong. Speaking of "inequity", did you ever figure out that "equal opportunity" was NOT a synonym for "equal outcome"?

I didn’t say I didn’t have access to the VA, I said it wasn’t free.
Lunch break!![]()
Yeah the free VA thing is bullshit. You got a copay like any other insurance, it's just cheaper and free to enroll. It's also harder to get care so it all evens out.
Not free? Really? I thought you told us you had a medical disability pension from the Army...were you lying then or are you lying now?
Tell you what, I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt here.
Tell us how much you pay out of pocket per year for medical costs....if you're not too chickenshit, that is.
I don't mind telling you I pay $680 a month for my own health care, with a $6500 calendar year deductible.
So, we're talking what? a $15 copay?
EVEN IF, there was no co-pay or deductible, getting that "free" HC from the VA costs some people everything, other's almost everything, a bunch more quite a lot, and all of them several years of their lives.

After all the backlash of liberals blaming our men and women of the Armed Forces returning home from war.....we do our best.

I don't doubt that at all, Timmeh.
I'm just tryin' to ascertain if BotanyBoy is man enough to tell us how much skin he has in the game.
I'm guessing it's a very low number.
It has always been that way. Some answer the call; others sit on the fence and tell stories about how they could have done it better.

And lawyer dude is correct. Veterans have paid for their insurance many times over.
Oh look he understands VA healthcare is in fact not free.
Glad you finally understand that compensation for services rendered =/= free.
Have you posted in Sean's submarine thread? Perhaps you should. Also, thanks for our service to our country. One of the many problems with botanydummy is his fuck you I got mine attitude. He's rambled incessantly about ACA and the chance for millions to finally have access to healthcare, verses the gop plan before it of fuck you and die.
It's ok for taxpayers to continue to pay for HIS healthcare, but God forbid anyone else have that. Even further than the cost is the inability to get access to healthcare due to plethora of reasons, such as pre-existing conditions. While no one thinks ACA is anywhere near perfect it is monumentally better than it was.
He also whines incessantly about socialism as he continues to leech off the gubmint for healthcare and a paycheck. The hypocrisy is huge with this lardass.
For the record, I served in the military.. and never once used the VA, I was responsible enough to secure my own healthcare and have for the last 30 plus years. Some people just can't be expected to take care of themselves, including Captain Socialism.
He is the first one I have ever trashed after serving his country... he's a pos.
I'm sure he'll read and line item response here... my question is, what rank was he in the military?
