A date took me to Grimsby for fish and chips. The date was lovely, but sadly I have to feedback the fish supper was lacking

There's definitely good and not so good places for fish and chips - even in Grimsby (and Cleethorpes for that matter). The best ones are in Cleethorpes..... Hope the date went better than the meal

I’m a real southerner. She took me to Cleethorpes and Scunthorpe. Just places I’d heard of.

I was living in Hull at the time. I was going to take her to the moors for the day on my motorbike, but it snowed - it was probably July. So we went out in her van for the day instead. Rock ‘n roll!

Sounds like you still had a good time! Over the Humber Bridge and down the noisy A180 for some dodgy fish and chips!
Seriously though, there were far better places to go if you had turned right off the 180 into the Lincolnshire Wolds, instead of left into the industrial humber bank areas.....

No kids here, and I've got two weeks off work now as well, just as the schools have gone back (tomorrow actually). Stay strong for the next two days!
