Location?

Downstairs is doable. Long ramp to enter, tight to turn chair round to get into lounge. Plenty of space to move around downstairs. May need to rearrange furniture if I need a bed downstairs and a commode. If I am able to walk with a frame then hopefully the landlord will agree to a stair lift and I can get upstairs to bed and bathroom

That's shit, remember taking care of my gran when she broke her hip falling out of bed and we had to carry her to the commode cos her toilet was out there back garden

There's definitely good and not so good places for fish and chips - even in Grimsby (and Cleethorpes for that matter). The best ones are in Cleethorpes..... Hope the date went better than the meal

I was living in Hull at the time. I was going to take her to the moors for the day on my motorbike, but it snowed - it was probably July. So we went out in her van for the day instead. Rock ‘n roll!

Sounds like you still had a good time! Over the Humber Bridge and down the noisy A180 for some dodgy fish and chips!
Seriously though, there were far better places to go if you had turned right off the 180 into the Lincolnshire Wolds, instead of left into the industrial humber bank areas.....
