It was the first place we took the grandson we adopted as our son after getting Dairy Queens. We used to call it his second birthday party every year since we became his second parents. Before he was five we moved away but found another bridge over another river. Places change yet memories remain.
Our lives have always been filled with simple things. Maybe that's why our marriage has lasted so long. Sorry, I just felt the memories and wanted to share.
Hopefully you will have many good memories.
We don't live far from our little town and there is a bridge like this that crosses the river. My hubby and I have been sitting near the bridge off and on for many years watching boats, people fishing, and just dreaming. Now we've moved back home and sit there again when we can.
