What is the greatest rush you have had...

Sky Diving
Bungee Jumping
Cliff Diving

It seems I am craving something to give the that shot of adrenalin I felt once upon a time. Any suggestions?

By "rush", I'm assuming you mean "scared shitless and think you are going to die". :p

Which, in this case, would be when I dove into a lake to pull out my little brother who was drowning, only to have him grasp tightly around my neck to the point of strangling me, and pull me under the water. I thought I was going to die.

Maybe you should try being a super hero. ;)

Thanks, but I'll pass on being a super hero. But you have something to be proud of!

:)

The greatest rush of adrenalin that I've felt in a non-life threatening situation woudl be first drumming circle that I participated in. I doubt it is what you are looking for.

How about bull riding. My son used to do it. Personally I think he's nuts, (takes after his sperm donor in that respect) but he says it was an incredible rush.

That sounds like a rush. Thanks.

Sounds great. Wanna join me;)
Yep sure, but I warn you a few days before my last ride I saw two people who had just done the same river and one had a broken leg and the other a broken arm......

Mega adrenalin rush

Either: driving aroung the periferique around Paris at rush hour (that is fucking scary)
Or: Skiing something steep and narrow with hazards - god that makes you feel alive.

Nice to see a pleasant thread;)

Driving from Atlanta to Milwaukee in 13 hours on $10.00 - by the time I hit the Chicago tollway, broke for 250 miles, I felt just incredible!!
I also hadn't slept in 2 days......

The last time I rode my horse and learned that Thoroughbreds can buck like bulls!

Kayaking the North Fork of the White River at flood stage.

Van, A friend of mine had a big rush that wasn't too pleasant. His lover's husband broke down the door to the hotel room and threatened both of them with a shotgun. I'm sure that was a rush!:D

*Picturing PCG as a thoroughbred* :D I'd like to try riding that thoroughbred.:p

White River - hmmmmmmm I did that a few years ago. Didn't know you were an Arkansas gal.

Bring your spurs darlin!

I'm a Missouri gal, but I'll go just about anywhere for a good river.

*Packing my spurs and boots*. I'll warn you PCG, I like to ride em hard, get them good and wet. :D

I was with my younger brother, we had been to Madison Square Garden to see Bob Dylan. He stopped to watch a guy doing a 3-card monte scam, and said "Hey, I can do that." Well I pulled him away after three or four five-dollars bills went down the toilet, and I was really pissed. So when I saw a cop car coming down the street, I went up to the window and told the cop what was going on. Stupid of me.
We got to the corner, and the look-out was waiting there, with one or two other guys. He pulled out a knife. He looked about 12-years old. (My hand's shaking here as I remember this--and it's every bit of twenty years ago.) I said, "Man--this is only gonna make it much worse. We're walking away now." I thought for sure I was gonna feel that knife in my belly, but we weren't bothered again.

Sounds more like a promise than a warning!

Oh yes, PCG. It's a promise.:p

By the way, is your thoroughbred a stallion, gelding or mare. A stallion can be a little rough.

An almost 4 yea old, completely psychotic mare. Gods, I love her! :)

She's more to handle than the stallions that I show... but neither of them have that kooky thoroughbred brain. One's a Morgan, one a Quarter. I'm breeding my mare to the Quarter, hoping for sanity.

It's The Fish I Tell Ya

Diving...Snorkeling, whatever. I am such a baby when it comes to that. I have this whole water fascination/fetish, but the fish, its the fish that scare the living shit out of me! Minutes after I go under my heart rate gets out of control, my breathing is erratic, sheer panic rushes though me.
