Hmmm .... if chibbing consists of :

Beating him bloody, then covering him with honey, then tying him down with wet leather ties in a hot Texas sun in mid-July with no water or food, on top of a fire ant hill for about 6 hours, then getting him up and tossing him into a rabid skunk den for about 1/2 hour, then making him hunt rattlers with his bare hands for a few hours, then spraying him with musk and tying him butt naked in a field with a horny male musk ox .... then I'm all for it and I'll bring the honey and the musk ox.

When I was a student I remember a lecturer saying, "You are all just parasites." I'd a grant, fees payed, travel allowance and was able to do bugger all most of the time.
