Litster Appreciation Thread

For any member you want to thank, praise, or post something positive about. Was someone nice to you and you want to thank them? Did someone send you a nice PM? Did someone help you out with something? Or is there someone you just like and want to let them know? This is the thread where you can acknowledge them and post positive messages to and about them.

And if you'd rather not name names that's totally fine too.

So I guess it's only fair that I start.

Tiamo15- Has sent some very sweet messages, which I always look forward to seeing in my inbox, has said some very nice things to and about me on the boards, and responds to my comments even when she's super busy.

BlackCashmere- Has been very sweet, has wished me well, and been supportive. We've only spoken a few times but I had a rough day and she was a ray of sunshine.

Dri- Said very nice and complimentary things to and about me.

GirlyBabe69- Sent a PM I thought was awesome very kind.

Oldasspussy- Listened to me bitch and provided several suggestions to help.

Yukie99- Sent me my first PM and has been great. I always love talking to her.

LauraWilling and Ubiquitous_Too- Helped me learn a lot in a very interesting conversation.

And last (for now) but certainly not least,

AKentuckyLady- Compliments me and greets me in the morning. She's been great.

I appreciate the friends here on lit that I don't need to talk with every day, even every week but it's always as if no time has gone by.

I appreciate the friends I have offline and even though they are done with lit, we have still remained friends.

I always appreciate the casual and fun people who post with me, regardless if they know me or not.

I appreciate you most of all tinman...movie tinman, I don't really know one.

Yeah, not really. Getting a PM isn't really an accomplishment, so I'm not sure how you interpret it as "bragging." Getting messages is nice. I don't see what's wrong with thanking someone for nice or supportive messages. If I'd listed everyone who'd sent me PMs it would be a long list. One you know is longer than my post. And is that all I talked about? Again, no. No, it is not.

I don't see what's wrong with wanting to create a positive space where you can acknowledge people who were cool to you. And I don't know why someone always has to turn it into something negative. It seems like an exhausting way to live to me.

I appreciate MilesLong for his steadfast friendship, his warped humour that plays right off mine, and always checking in on me and just seeming to know when something's not quite right.

We miss his humor here on the board. I hope he's well.

I appreciate my dear friends, the sexy ladies who share with us here on the board, and silly banter.

I don’t see how publically commenting on PM’s is an act of kindness but that’s only my view on the matter. Overall though I have no issues with complementing another lister, even though there’s already a thread for saying something nice about another lister.

It's like a thank you note. If someone says something nice about you, why not thank them? This is not the point of the thread though.

While I agree with the idea, I am pretty good about Thanking someone who has done something nice for me, or made me feel special, straight to them. I have had a rough few years and many people here on Lit have helped me get through those tough times, so I am always thankful.
It is always nice to feel appreciated though, so I am sure this will take off just fine.
but I admit, when I saw it, I thought "oh, this is going to be a Tiamo appreciation thread". because even I have noticed that you sing her praise in almost every post you make. By all means, praise away.

Shelbybubbles - she is so much fun, we can joke around, talk openly to one another & a little bit of a fun crush. A great friend

steelyblue73 - opening up & getting to know each other even after my mixed signals.

BlackCashmere - we don't chat often, but she is a ray of sunshine with a soul of an angel.

sultan_sd - who was my shrink here for a long time. A good friend & an all round great guy.

rbijon - great chats, such a sweet guy. A romantic pirate

Canbe4fun - A great guy with a fantastic romantic heart.

greyjim - another great guy here. We don't chat as much as we use to.

Then there are several others I like chatting to as well even though we don't often....Ubiquitious_too, LizVegas79, llidar, catherinewheel77 & several others.

I also admire & appreciate so many more on here. Most don't know who they are as I've never reached out, though a couple I have.
