Music is what helps me get through. Gives voice to that which I cannot express.

Ahem....ahem ladies

The question was Superman vs Batman. Without regard to other personal preferences or likes/dislikes. This is exactly how a good topic goes awry.

I haven't written a derailment citation lately, but I might....

Hump day bonus topic. Why? Well it's hump day and I feel like it. :D And bonus questions ought to be fun and not so serious, so here goes......

Superman vs Batman, the movie, is coming out soon. Without regard to the movies premise(disclaimer, I don't know what the movie premise is) in that epic battle who would win? And who would you rather be?

I vote Batman all the way. He's got a kick ass car, Yeah Superman can fly but I still like the car. Batman has a cool cave to hang out in, Superman a telephone booth and there aren't any of those any more. The tool belt Batman sports is killer, put in some Krptonite and Superman is a goner.

Batman wins!

Batman wins because Batman cheats! But Wolverine would gut his ass!

I must remain Switzerland...

Not a fan of either. I can't choose..

Fucking Hell..how am I supposed to VOTE this year.

Edit: you've never taught a class I was a student in, have you...don't you know? I get the *special* box of crayons..

And the scissors.
:D

I swear, my hands are only at the keyboard.

You go to an ATM and when you begin to use it , you notice there's $60 in the cash dispensing part. It's after hours, the bank is closed, there was no one there as you pulled up and there is no one around now. What do you do with the cash? And why.

You use the term "ATM" in an adult forum and expect that this topic won't get derailed?? I need to rinse my mouth out. :p

And I'd take the money, but call the bank in the morning to tell them what happened. Why? Because I don't steal.

I think I'm developing a girl crush on Suz_anne.

Your first response was the funniest thing I've read on this thread.

And your second just shut down the topic...what else would any decent person do?

I would take the money and go to the bank in the morning to return it.
I wouldn't take it either......it's just plain wrong :)

I'm with the others. For all I know, that $60 might be all it takes to save someone's life.
I was out running errands one day.. the kind of day where you go to 10 different places. When I got home, I realized that my diamond tennis bracelet was no longer on my wrist. It was a gift of great sentimental value and my heart was crushed. I went to the grocery store where I'd spent most of my time, but didn't bother going to the other shops. What were the odds that someone found it.. and if they did.. who wouldn't keep a diamond tennis bracelet.

The lady from the grocery store called at 7 a.m. - I wanted to hug her. I wanted to hug the lady who had found it.. When I asked if anyone left a name for a thank-you, the store manager told me that she only said, "I'm sure it holds more value personally than it will ever be worth as just a bracelet."

no act of kindness.. no matter how small..

That's a great story, the kind that restores our faith in human kindness. :rose:

A Home Depot shopping trip. Files, chisels, sand paper and chocolates. They will be dispersed accordingly.

441 people have stopped by to answer the poll and am I to believe that 100% of everyone here is honest? I mean I know it looks bad and might hurt your fuckability (although we know how attractive bad boys/girls are, so it might improve it), but not one person is going to say "yeah, I'd pocket the money, it's not like anyone expects the money is going to come back"
