I believe that if you take care of the little things a lot of the big things take care of themselves. Fortunately I'm a morning person. It's very rare that I don't hit the ground running. The big advantage of that is I'm usually done with duty and responsibility before most people had their 1st cup of coffee. That allows me to luxuriate through the day.

this "luxuriate" concept you speak of... what's it like? are hot tubs and manservants involved? what about silken linens and full body massages? and surely there's a chocolate fountain somewhere...

Coincidentally today's luxuriating did involve full body massage, followed by lunch at a nice little French bistro (with drinks). Alas, no manservants or chocolate fountains! :cool:

It depends on the day. Most often these days, it is a sense of responsibility. I would like it to swing back in the direction of being excited to face the day. That is one of my biggest hopes for the coming year.

Sexy vs beautiful. What defines each, do you have to be beautiful to be sexy? My preference would be for someone to be sexy. There's an inner beauty with sexy and well, sexy is just plain hot.

So I dare you, show us your sexy , and I bet we all call it beautiful.
 
Sexy vs. Beautiful – I am not a regular around these parts but thought I would weigh in on this one…

For me, the line between sexy and beauty was ‘blurred’ at best when I was younger. The older I get, the wider the separation becomes, the more clear the distinction. Now at my advanced age, I still find them both attractive (my tumblr is a perfect example with multiple examples of each). But I tend to identify women as one or the other rather quickly. Upon reflection, I can see I was drawn to sexy more when I was younger and now look more for beauty…

For me sexy tends to be focused on the more ‘shallow’ basic desires. Physical looks defined by pop culture. Younger more than older, perfectly shaped breasts, tone legs, styled hair, etc. More bare skin, provocative poses, staged looks. Not to say that sexy cannot be real, but it tends to be moment specific. Sexy tends to be more physical but it can be a voice or even an attitude. And it tends to illicit a more physical response like arousal.

Beauty on the other hand, is deeper. It often requires one to look a little more closely, to pay attention, to observe. Physical beauty might be more classic’, more timeless, less prone to current social or cultural standards. It is based on style and often more subtle, less in your face. It might be the look of a woman in a well fitted dress that highlights her curves yet shows almost no skin. Makeup and accessories in small doses designed to highlight her beauty not intended to mask or create something that is not there. It also involves confidence, principles, experience and integrity. I have often said, there is nothing more beautiful than a woman when she is being a mother. Unlike sexy, beauty tends to illicit a response of admiration and appreciation. And yes, I do still get very aroused with beauty too…

Just one dolt’s thoughts on the subject… As with most of my opinions, your mileage may vary…
 
I like that, Incognito. It's stated well and with an appreciation we don't often take time to share.

As far as the picture goes.. it really just speaks to the point that each of us has a different view of sexy and, without looking into the eyes of another, it can actually be difficult to find the beauty.

Thanks GG. Looking back I realize it was more a request for pictures showing examples of each than it was an opinion of what defines one or the other... :rolleyes: My bad...
 
I'm not a guy.. but I see such a warmth in both pics that either one would make me want to talk with you. And really.. there's something sexy about somebody playing a guitar...
