I agree with you, but what's to be done? If threads get overrun by wannabe cocksuckers or tell me what makes you hot threads, then all we can do is post on the good threads and they stay on your subscribed list. You can't deny its the popular threads that stay at the top and of course 'the people must be right' ... But at lot of people are asshats ;)
I thought of that! I try to post regularly in the threads that I like in order to keep them afloat. There's a fine line, though, between contributing usefully to them and bumping them mindlessly. Often, I see a witty or interesting thread sinking into oblivion, but I'm unable to think of anything suitably witty or interesting to add. That's the point where I give up and go back to posting in the "What's your favourite shoe size?" thread.
.

Maybe it's because every conversation has a natural end? Even this thread has had to take breaks - in Chainey's case, electro-shock therapy to help him generate more questions has taken him away from us for extended periods.
My MtF thread buzzed for a few months because people had loads of question... then they stopped. I keep it from sinking altogether by posting something of interest now and again, because I think it's grown into a useful reference and it would be ashame for it to disappear.
Chainey acts like the good shepherd, gently guiding his flock of puzzles, washing his socks at night and spanking mischief-makers

Happy Friday. Since no one really wants to work let's go off the beaten path a bit. Did you see the new pictures from Pluto, amazing images? I always enjoy seeing similar images from our universe. Never ceases to amaze.

Having said that, if given the opportunity, would you travel into space? Would you sign up to stay in the International Space Station? How far are you willing to push yourself? What are your limits?

Where's the selection board? The forms? Sign me up! Think of the science you could do up there!
Would I go to Mars? Ah… 300 days to get there and no guarantee of a return…. not so much

I've worked at NASA and seen the space shuttle. It looks like a piece of shit. No way would in go in that!!!

I'm not much of a risk taker, but I would actually jump at the opportunity to do something like that. The number of people who have gotten to do something like that is so few. I would love the opportunity to do something that only a small handful of people have ever done. Ultimate bragging rights. "Oh? You fucked a porn star? Well I jerked off on the moon. The cum just floated around."

And yes, I would totally love to be the first person to jerk off on the moon.

I did a couple of rotations at NASA, and actually had the opportunity to work on data from the space station. Pretty cool stuff.

I'm not much of a risk taker either, at least not physically, but I'd go to space *snaps fingers* like that!!! :cattail:

I will now be stuck with this mental picture for the rest of the day.

Maybe with the right company

Haha...love it ;)

I hadn't seen the latest images but I swiftly Googled after reading the question. I have always been fascinated with the universe and in learning about it.

No, I don't believe I would travel into space, although I'm not quite sure why, other than to say the thought of it just doesn't feel right to me. I would certainly love to see the world, though. I would just prefer to do it on the ground.

Now, one of those zero-gravity chambers? Absolutely!

It's nice to see some familiar and new faces showing back up around these parts. Welcome one, welcome all the the greatest.....whoops, forgot I'm not the ringleader at the circus, just a guy posting questions....(and a few lipstick pics ;) )

Watching threads start, seeing some take off and others not go anywhere, I'm constantly fascinated. I've learned I can't predict the popularity of threads(unless there's boobs in them  ). So which thread surprised you when it didn't take off? Which thread surprises you that it's still going?

(Note: I'm just realizing I posted a question not all that long ago that may be very similar to this, I don't think it's exact. But I'm this far down the road, so deleting and thinking of a new question just isn't that appealing. Yeah, call me lazy ;) )

Thank you for your "welcome back". :D

What thread surprises me is that guys against girls one. For one I never understand the draw to it. There's no conversation, no interaction, no boobs, no anything.

One thread that I've been watching from the start is Baby Bunnylily's Delightful Daydreams. When she first started it I was hopeful but unsure as to how it would go. It's still going and I still follow it. Bunny has done an amazing job at breathing life into it. She posts some of the most beautiful soul-touching things. It's a sexy, playful, beautiful thread to follow. She's done an amazing job.

Oh, you mean the counting up n down thread thingy? I did post there recently but only to help a noob reach 100 posts but it does seem pretty pointless.
The Limericks is my go-to until you get some guy who has less sense of rhythm than... a vibrator with a broken switch? ... a drunk white grandad?

Gosh, he's just so darn cute! I can't help but smile the whole way through. I definitely think he found his sweet spot. :)

Awww - he's been there n done them all ;)

just hope that wasn't a colostomy bag

sorry - couldn't help myself

I didn't look at the Pluto photos because I am so sad it is not a planet any more (at least most agree it is not).

Having said that -- I cannot imagine willingly traveling into outer space. I just went zip-lining and thus, have discovered my limit.

And finally, Pmann says that the spaceship is a piece of crap. No thanks!

That pisses me off about Pluto, too! That damn, little planet didn't do a freakin' thing to, ummm...what was his name? The one that demoted it? Anyways, that guy sucks.

I don't care what they say...Pluto will always be a planet to me. *swoons*

Space travel I am guessing is not that different than scuba diving :) and have seen alot of people freak out a that lol

Yes, don't go with the lowest bidder. Would want the company to have lots of experience with space travel. Fly-by-night (pun intended) outfits aren't the way to go.

LOL! So you'd go with SpaceX over Blue Origin? Or there's always the celebrity popular Virgin Galactic. :D

I wondered that too.
