I don't normally have a clue to what's going on. Reading might be fun.
The only one I do know about is one that was going on around me in a thread. With one person messaging me in the background. I tried to get it ended,

Instead of drawing for tiny, he just used this as an opportunity to show off about his Norwegian vacation.

I just realized we are totally off topic here. *waves badge around*

Listen up, fuckers! If you want to have fun and enjoy yourselves, move on. This is not the place.

Let's get back to the drama, please.

There have been some dramatic unfolding a here on the board as of late. Personally, I enjoy watching drama unfold. Sometimes the situations really suck though.

When drama unfolds, do you tend to avoid reading it? Do you read in silence, like a bush masturbator wanks in silence? Or do you read it, get in and poke the bear?

Personally, if it's GB drama, I like to poke the bear. I'm never actually a part of it. But man, I enjoy prodding them and messing with them.

Sort of a part two to the question... Have you ever been involved in any drama? If so, was it miserable or did you like the attention? I personally like attention, but dear god, not of the dramatic variety. Ewwwwwww.
Has there been some drama lately? I don't look for it, so I tend to be blissfully unaware unless it takes place explicitly in one of the threads that I check out. I think it helps that I'm on UK time: I'm usually asleep when things are kicking off on the other side of the Pond.

I don't recall being involved in any drama. It's often difficult enough for me to get noticed at all, let alone to be at the centre of any incident. I certainly wouldn't relish the possibility.
.

Yep. Fully derailed. Shocked it took until Friday.

Nice to see the place getting back to its roots

This^ is maybe the best thing I've ever read here. :rose:

I was spurred to action about 5 months ago when a homeless woman approached me. As she was coming I thought to myself "Hmm have I got any change for her?" and began mentally going through my purse. Instead she asked me if I had a tampon. Of course, I gave her the pack floating around in my bag being pregnant I had no use anyway, no skin off my nose, right? And on I went....

Then later that night I got to thinking and realised I'd never thought about that - how humiliating it would be to have to beg for a tampon. To approach and rely on another for something so personal. It made so deeply sad. As if being homeless was bad enough, being a homeless woman with your period must be a special kind of horrible. :( Anyway I did a little research and found there is a group called the My Town Period Project. They make up period packs for homeless women, and distribute them accordingly. So.... I put the call out and we collected $6,4000 worth of tampons, pads, wipes and chocolate frogs (because chocolate!) for this charity to distribute. It felt good to know some women had it just a tiny bit easier and some dignity restored in their lives for just a moment.

I have also donated to a similar project here in Canada....

I'm with you. I never really see it...but I don't follow threads exclusively either...I meander my way around and look at whatever catches my eye...when I have time...

I am here for fun...if I want drama, I can get that in RL....don't fuck with my escape place....

I guess Papa Chained is back in hiding today, so I'll ask a question.

I'm usually blissfully ignorant of any drama until it's full blown or even over. And no one ever tells me anything. *pout*

Nope. Not part of any drama. Truth be told, I'm dense enough that I wouldn't care about or notice it. :D

On the GB, the term cunt is used as a term of endearment. And then sometimes as an expletive. So it's accurate to say, in one way or another, the GB is filled with cunts.

I think it's funny reading the passive aggressive bullshit on the Dear Lister or ISO Blurts threads. But let's stop being passive aggressive and get aggressive aggressive and start using names, people! Unless it's me. :( Then it will hurt my feelings.

Cunt.

Come on, Papa!!! I did a damned fine job keeping this place clean. Aside from a ring from my semen jar on the coffee table, this place is just as you left it. That and Suzanne begging me for anal. But that's expected.

I swear, the moment people started having fun I did all I could do to make them stop. These people are just likable, fun people. What am I to do?!?

One of the funniest dramas that came to mind was two dudes a couple years ago stroking their egos at each other in post. Then each one of them PMing me on the side about the other and neither one knew I knew the other.

Hahahahaaaa good times laughing at both of them.

An admiral job. Would appear you had lieutenants to help, well not really, you were the lone lawman. Undercover angel work should be over soon, hang on tight.

Happy Saturday. There are a lot of different kinds of posters here on Lit.

Guys:

You've got some that lurk on those "would you like to fuck those person threads" just waiting for a girl to post so they can make them swoon with the knowledge that they would fuck them. You've got the annoying attention whores (not me). You've yot the delightfully charming attention whores (me). There are creepers, nice guys. "nice" guys, Internet white horse guys, funny guys, dickheads, meatheads, intellectuals, untouchables, charmers.

Girls:

There are many species of girls as well. Drama queens. Girls that fall in love at the drop of their pants. Sweethearts. Girls who are actually guys. Cliquey girls. Fun girls.

Obviously that isn't all inclusive. But you get my point. What kind of posters do you enjoy? What kind just get on your nerves? What kind intrigue you?

I'll go first!

I like the funny, witty, and charming attention seeking whore that keep me laughing. I also like intelligent ones that make me think. And fun girls, sweethearts because we all need a friend at times, or a hug.

Hmmmm...wonder what "girl category" I fall into...just someone's opinion...and last time I checked...everyone has an opinion and an asshole...if you are are of the homosapien species that is... :) I prefer people who have a sense of humor...a brain..and do not get all twitterpated over the small stuff... :)

For every like there is a dislike.
What is one persons "cup of tea" won't rock someone else's boat.
I love posters with a sense of humour, wit, sarcasm. Genuine posters, who are
kind to others.
I can't stand the attention seekers, the pretender's, the woe is me posters.
But worst of all the vindictive, nasty, jealous posters who deliberately
belittle others and are hurtful.
Posters who intrigue me, hmmmm intelligent, good with words, a little
mysterious maybe?
