Personal identification info would be a showstopper for me. I was going to say fees because I was thinking that credit card info would be required, but when Ruby mentioned a pre-paid credit card - maybe, a small fee wouldn't be so bad. Although I think it would drastically reduce the number of people who frequent the boards and I think that would be a shame.

I would like to emphasize that, for the record, I do prefer free. :D

Years before that I remember my parents cleaning out my closet and throwing away belongings of mine without asking me first while I was at work. Like posters and CDs of mine and, most humiliatingly, they went through my porn stash. It was deeply embarrassing and really fucking humiliating. Even talking about it today is upsetting.

I talk about these things jokingly now but the truth is is that both of these things deeply upset me and caused me a shit ton of anxiety. They pretty said "I don't respect your space and I dont give a fuck about your feelings". There's absolutely no shame in needing your own space. And people that don't respect your space, especially after you set boundaries, aren't worth having around.

That is some fucked up shit. No one deserves to feel violated like that. Terrible. I'm with Lord of the peanuts. Who does that?!
