Many of us are here without the knowledge of anyone in our RL. That can be problematic in any number of ways. For me, I often want to share something I read here. But I don't because I can never answer the "who told you that" or "where'd you hear that" saying "a friend" or "someone at work" won't cut it. How do you struggle bringing Lit into your RL?

Several friends and my BF know I'm here. I'm very open minded about sex, and I don't think it would be much of a surprise if more people who knew me knew I come here.

My BF and I do struggle with it a bit, what's appropriate and what's not and what we are both comfortable with. He even joined the board briefly before deciding it wasn't his cup of tea. I don't believe in keeping things from him, and I have good friends in RL who I met here. ...I'm not about to lie to him about where I met them and I'm not going to hide my phone or computer from him and live in fear of being 'caught'. Thankfully, he knows, on the most important level, who I belong to and that there's a big difference between a few online kisses and what we have together in RL.

I suspect there is a large number of people here that look at lit while they are supposed to be working. I've always thought that whether you're looking at porn or checking your stock portfolio if it isn't "work" then it doesn't really matter what you're looking at.

So the topic is: what constraints do you put around when you look at Lit? Never at work? Checking to read a few threads but no posting while at work? Never while I'm at church?

Since I don't have a phone with internet access (yep, I took that one as a precaution, I know myself) and since most public places where I take my laptop with me and which offer free Wlan have a block on anything even remotely connected to porn, I only log in on Lit when I am at home.

I sneak it when I can. I think I'd have to ban myself if I worked out of the house. I don't have enough self control. Plus, as an employer I'd be pissed paying people to lit/facebook..yadda yadda..... anywhere else and I wouldn't really care. I see people on the train grinning at their phones and I always wonder.

I'll randomly post in little threads if I'm sitting down at work. Not too often though, and only using my phone.

I mostly use my phone, cause i am too lazy to sit in front of the laptop when i am not at work, so whenever i feel like it i check things online..but in church i prefer to be alone..
And my fingers are not to be constrained. It would be a total waste...
