Like you, I try not to bring RL moods here but hey - sometimes I'm just crabby here AND in RL
All the same, sometimes when I'm feeling blue I can read a post that is so unexpected and funny that it pops the bubble of whatever it was making me sad and cheers me up.

If you've had a bad day in RL do you bring it with you to Lit or do you come here to maybe find something that'll help you snap out of it? Are you able to disconnect RL emotions from Lit?

I do my best to not display bad moods in general but I suppose it happens. If anything lit cheers me up sometimes.

I definitely come here to escape my bad day and to play in fantasy land. However, I also have really good friends here who know what I deal with in real life, and I talk to them as well. So much like real life, I interact on the level to which we have built our relationships.

And an aside to Brad. That's NOT a too tight tank...
Though I guess those do technically qualify as boy shorts

This pretty well sums it up for me. I'll occasionally blurt about minor real life blips, but on the whole I prefer to keep board time light. I do, however, discuss heavier real life issues with one or two I've built more intimate relationships with.

I am in agreement with Endless. I come to the boards as a way of escapism, so I rarely bring the bad mood with me. If I am in a bad mood - I rarely come on line. In PM's with someone I know well, I may share a bad mood - fortunately, I am rarely in a bad mood.
