You are perfect as you are.
I resolve to not do anymore resolution topics......thud

Somewhere on the threads recently, there was a reference to the "walk of shame" that early morning (or not so early morning) walk back to your place still wearing the previous night's clothes, after "hooking up". Thankfully there really isn't a post of shame, at Lit. But, if there were such a thing, a thread where you were required to post after online fun, would it impact with who or how often you play at Lit?
lol..required.. Good luck " requiring " me to do anything. When such nonsensical requisites are put into play, I'm the first one to buck them, and I wouldn't post. :D Call it my virtual "fuck the system".. I gotta have a solid reason to do something that:
A. Makes sense
B. Is not there simply for the amusement of higher-ups.
C. Improves process in some fundamental way

That said- and if we want to talk my criteria, coupled with Elli's comment- if writing down your experience helps you in someway to 'digest' what occurred and maybe make you think on how to improve (or avoid!!!) a 'next' encounter, I say ' go for it'.

I think my original topic wasn't as clear as I would have liked. What I was hypothesizing was more of a log entry where everyone could look and see when and with whom you had online/voice/cam sex with. Not so much a place where you detail the experience.

Well 'required' is certainly not vague, but could such a requirement be implementable?
If such a requirement might influence with whom or how often we played, does that mean that with whom would also be public?
Would intending playmates have to register their intentions to get offline message access to each other and then only be allowed to log back in to Lit once they had submitted a draft post for the Post of Shame thread?
And what exactly would be expected in these posts? A simple
"yes, did the deed"
Actual details, or...and I hesitate to suggest...
Rate the experience?
Would there be a Litsters as Online Lovers league table?

If and when I engage in any online fun as suggested in the query, when, with whom and how often is no one else's business.

Nor am I going to advertise that I may or may not 'put out'. Not unless Chained volunteers to receive any PMs in response to everyone's post.

So, yes, such a requirement would send me packing, or finding creative ways to avoid the requirement.

I think I'm in line with Bites.
I've already lived through this environment. We called it high school. I graduated "Most Likely to Never Repeat High School"

nope, you were clear enough.

IF..-BIG IF- it were even remotely enforceable, it would change the dynamics of this website. Perhaps for the good, but then it wouldn't be the same place, at all..

And, I still wouldn't do it. :p Cause you can't make me..

Neener neener.. :D

The concept was to be the "walk of shame" , you hooked up with someone last night, now you're coming back to your place the next morning. Everyone knows, or at least you feel as if they know, what you did last night.

Let me re-ask it.

Would it bother you that everytime you "hooked up" with someone at Lit, your first 10 posts (or some other arbitrary number that's of some significance) you posted was in colored font that was a universal color for someone that's recently fucked. Would it bother you or world you strut the colored font proudly?

I suppose it would depend on the guy I hooked up with. ;)

But really, if he's special enough for me to hook up with, then I wouldn't care if everyone knew.

I'm not ashamed to play with who I play with. If they're ashamed Of me, then we probably shouldn't be playing anymore.

I'll jump in here and say it doesn't really matter cause I quit cyber cold turkey. I'm fine, really I am. :D

Right? The only reason I can think of to be ashamed of playing with someone is if they later turned out to be a hateful, bigoted person. That would certainly put the brakes on any future play. For sure.

If I'm playing with you, you must be a good person in my eyes or I would not be doing so. Therefore I feel no shame.
I don't shout off the rooftops about who I am playing with but if you were stalking me, you might be able to figure it out.:D

Would this be retroactive because a number of folks here would have that font color for a very long time. ;)

... not to mention we've already discussed font colors being a no-no. Tisk, tisk, Chained.

(There is nothing hidden in this post.)

I value my privacy. While the notification that I had been getting busy isn't exactly something I'd embrace, I'd be much less keen on announcing my partner's name.

Call me old fashioned - I'm just not one to kiss and tell.

I wouldn't care. But you lot know that already. :D

You early risers! I keep missing most of the action.

Today’s question seems to have gone through several evolutions, but I’ll do my best to answer. I would be gone in a hot second, for several reasons.

1) Privacy is a big issue for me, and while you might find me chattering on about personal things on occasion, I choose when, what, and where. There’s also the other the privacy of the other party privacy to consider. They might not want their business plastered across the board.

2) I’m also, whether I should be or not, rather shy about sex. If my choices had to be publicized, I’d probably never play.

3) Besides, I’m with RA on this one. Under most circumstance, I dislike being told what to do. Particularly when we’re talking arbitrary orders.

This made me laugh, until I started thinking about it. Rating partners?! What if you had a bad one? Worse, what if they thought you were bad?!

Shadowmist has a point.

:: tilts head on side, considering ::

I think I'm still going to have to go with, "No."

I know I've snickered reading the next morning where some noob is sexing it up in post with Ravi.

That stuff is gold right there!

I know. I cybered with HungDavid one drunken evening. We exchanged dick pictures. I was jellus but it didn't stop me.

The only reason I can think is if you didn't want other potential 'friends' to know you were playing with someone already. People are weird about sharing. But whatevs. :)

I don't think it's the sharing part that I thought of, it's the exclusive friendships that really have some back door shenanigans going on.

This brought to mind having a sloppy seconds thread. Made me chuckle a bit. :)

The PM boxes of the users on that thread alone would bring down the server.

Probably lol

But, there really are some people who Do Not share well. At all. Lol
