Go with the whale skin. Stitching the flimsy normal ones together is just too much of a nuisance. However, let me clarify. I do not *mind* the cockatars/vagatars. I don't necessarily *like* them. There's definitely a difference.

I don't know what works until it works but I can tell you what does not work.

Persistence is very important but not the whiney kind. "Why don't you ever respond to me? It has been 2 hours and you posted on the board so I know you are online" is not attractive.
