How much effort are you willing to put into an online relationship. I know it's a tough thing to measure and the better the connection the less of an effort it seems to be. But if an ideal relationship is 50/50 are you willing to give 60/40, 70/30 ?

50/50.
That's an average, because you have to allow for people having bad days etc. As in with any relationship, there are times when you're going to have to give more, and times where you just need that little bit extra from the other person. It's about finding the balance that works for you.

Unless we're talking about interwebs fapping relationships.

It all depends...I start off by reading my PM's (if I have any), then get caught up on threads. If per chance I happen to start chatting with someone, I can end up on here forever....well...depends on the content of the chats too....

I spend a lot of time here each day. Not posting, so much. But I exchange PMs back and forth with Rainshine all morning until she goes to sleep. Then, 12 hours later when she drags her fine arse out of bed, I resume the PMs. And I usually PM during the day too. That's really what defines my time here. Those are consistencies.

Then during the day I will read and post, depending on my workload and how interesting you lot decide to be.

Some evenings I'm here for the duration. Most times I just pop in and out as I see fit. Until I get my computer later today it's catch as catch can because I'm using Gracie's computer when she's not using it.

I don't clock myself though.

It depends. I can lose hours when I post images in the Yard or elsewhere. I have times when I post daily other times not. It also depends who is around and if there is any banter around

I tend to either not be here or to be here for two to three hours, reading stories and wandering about peeking into various threads. I go days at a time without peeking at Lit, but then can turn around and spend a couple of days here. I've been pulled into the vortex a couple of times when Lit is giving good thread, or when I've been PMing with someone.

I'm in and out generally. I don't really have time to be on it all day but I'll swing by and poke around when I feel like it.

A few hrs in the evening. I used to spend more time, knew more people, some of which have moved on to other sites or wherever like I did for many years.

Depends on what else I have going on!
Some days I log in to reply to PMs only.
Some days I look at the first 'new posts' page and decide I can't be bothered.
Less frequently I get lost in a thread and spend hours just reading/looking back though the posts.

Realistically though, I work shifts. So it all depends on how much sleep I've had and if I could possibly get any more. Location or time of day aren't issues - I'll sleep anywhere!
