Wow! Usually when I say that I get tackled by angry nerds! I am so surprised!

Yes, it's namely the voice. *shudders*

But even the guitar has a nails on the chalkboard effect on me. It sounds like shrieking, not shredding.

And Pmann, my paper thin t-shirt, that I'm wearing right now, which I'm certain you'd refuse to look at, happens to say "Gone to Carolina In My Mind" right across the tits.

I would look at a James Taylor shirt.

That was one of the first songs I ever learnt to play on fingerstyle guitar. Third one. First one was Tears In Heaven. Second was I Have To Say I love You In a Song. The Carolina In My Mind.

Werd.

Rush just fucking sucked. Schvetty balls.

I’m kind of with you about Rush. They’re incredibly talented. But GL’s voice is annoying as can be. Their music is just too 80s. And not the pleasing 80s like Phil Collins. Like crap rock 80s.

As I have gotten older (though I’m still young, you shitheads), I’m less concerned with technicality in music. It’s awesome watching someone beat the shit out the drums on a solo for a little bit. But it gets old really quickly. Give me James Taylor and his songwriting bliss.

Some technicality doesn't get old. The best two minutes you will spend today

Whew...I thought I was the only one that really didn’t like Rush. :D

Nothing makes me change the station quicker than a Rush song...or dare I say Stevie Ray Vaughn as well.

Someone spill some water...fast...

Or pour some sugar....?

Soooo no Drums In Space for you, then? ;)

Sir, you daren't.

Am I annoyed to read “huh” ?

If I have to repeat myself in writing, I’m likely more annoyed by your inability to read and comprehend than repeating myself.

I see both viewpoints here the first where you're asked if someone repeating themself in a written dialog annoys you as much as someone doing so in a verbal conversation. As for myself, yes, it does. Sometimes people do that stuff on purpose just to annoy people.

But I also see the viewpoint of someone's inability to process what was written. However, that's not unusual as any number of filters can come into play. But good points on both sides.

My reading abilities and comprehension are fine. Thank you very much.
I made a genuine question, because there are things that may annoy people when hearing them but not so much when reading them. I for example have that.

Your rudeness is uncalled for. But carry on.

Sensitivity seems unnecessary as “your” is a generalization fitting of your generalized question. But carry on.

My irrational annoyance... bad shoes!! Dirty shoes!!

I agree with this. Like, it takes very little to make sure that your shoes are properly polished. And it adds such a nice look.

Also, I hate a messy tie knot. Especially when it’s a half Windsor. You’re already saying, “I don’t want to be taken seriously” with your half Windsor. Then you go and make it sloppy? Please. Why don’t you just wear a jester hat?

Brilliant. I don’t mind technical prowess. I just don’t want it in lieu of a good song or melody.

So, I’m a guitarist, as I ramble about all the fucking time, and everyone always makes it like I should wanna grab his deceased pecker or something. He was amazing, no doubt. And his songs are good. However, I can only listen to two songs of 1-4-5 blues. They’re so damned repetitive. I get it. SHE’S GONE. She found somebody new. It’s just so boring sometimes. If not boring, just the same thing over and over.

I like one SRV song. Two is okay. Three and I’m weary.

Ladies, ladies... why all the fussin’ and feuding?

Shoes should complete your outfit not degrade it. It makes me sad ha!

I’m a sucker for a guy in a suit so I might forgive the half Windsor but bad shoes? That’s definitely a spoiler

We talked about things or behaviours that annoy us yesterday. Today, let’s do the opposite. Talk about the things that are perfect. The things that make you smile. The things that don’t get annoying with age. It can be be a person, a thing, a place, a song, a movie, your favourite stick figured Lit poster, etc.

Sitting behind the wheel of a piece of history. When cars and trucks still looked like a piece of art and they actually changed the appearance of them, if only slightly, every single year. Throaty engine, smelling of oil and gas, shiny chrome, no seatbelt, no airbag, no fucks given. Heaven.

We can totally make out now.

Being on my horse. The calm and peace of coloring. Being in the woods in either the buggy or my 4 runner. Cruising in the mustang. Having my kids around. Family time. The smell of cut grass. The view from my yard. The sounds of calming voices. The pups and kitties. The sound of "Mom". A good book. A good chick flick with a glass of wine. The coast, waves, sounds, view. Camping in the woods. The town of Leavenworth, washington. There is always plenty of music. Penises. Boobs. Bodies. Happy Smiles. Love.

I'm easy. I can find happiness in many things. I have to. Other wise the depression takes over.

duh! music! for the rough times, the fun times, the anticipating times, the blind angry times, the annoyed times, the in the mood times, you name it. and not just one genre of music or one artist or one album or one song (even though i get hooked on some songs and can't let them go for a while - i'm lookin' at you Whitehouse Road), but a big ole wide swatch of music, depending on where my head's at. hell, i've even got a recording of Blade singing and playing Rambling Man that just have to hear ere now and then!

I watched him strumming and singing earlier this week. I do love him.
