I feel fortunate to not have a lot of drama surrounding my friendships neither here nor away from here.

The biggest friendship drama/bestie gone bad story I have is from a long time ago. In high school, there was a group of girls who were my close friends, my squad. One of them was kind of promiscuous. Okay, not kind of... girl got around.

When we were in college, I was dating this guy who lived in a beach town. A bunch of us road tripped up to see him and have a party at his place. After we arrived, I volunteered to drive some people to the store to pick up supplies.

We arrived back at my boyfriend's place and my slutty friend was sucking his dick.

It was a big, bad, ugly scene. Obviously, it ended the relationship with that guy. It was a big, gaping wound in my friendship with my friend. I couldn't stand to even look at her or hear her voice. It was extremely difficult on our other mutual friends who all knew she had done wrong, but also didn't want to completely abandon her. We'd been friends since middle school.

We ended up repairing our friendship over time. In the end, I understood that she was validating her worth by getting sexual attention from men. She also realized it and worked to change that. My frenemy story: Back in college I was friends (maybe not best friends) with this guy who was pretty slick. I had a crush on this girl, and he said he would help me in getting with her (I was naïve). He started inviting her along when we hung out as a group, and talking with her solo.
