)Iāll pop in for the question of the day.
Pictures.
Selfies and documenting your time, travels and candid moments as you trek through life. What do you take pics of and how often do you share them?
Are you the kind of person that edits every image before its shared or the quick and raw speaks greater truths of that moment?
And then, how much editing it too much? How important is it to you that the image photographed matches the digital replica?

What Iām learning is that a dick is a dick no matter how you dress it up.

I rarely take pictures when Iām out doing adventures. The only reason I do now is because of family. Because I rarely go back and look at pictures. Maybe I will when Iām old and feeble.
Editing - not on social media, so the photos are just for us. Iāll often try to crop to get a better composition from a wider angle shot. Iām still learning a lot about composition and how to frame a pic better.

Bland?!? Fuck that It's a classy filter, dammit. That's why the colour scheme is a bit darker. I've returned, a little wiser. A little less bright (my avatar, not my wit). >
I find they look best with a sepia tint.
So it looks like it is in one of those old timey saloon photos?I find they look best with a sepia tint.

I'm always impressed by people who can take nice pics of themselves. I can't take a good pic of myself to save my life. Girls just take better pics of themselves anyway. Like, you all know the proper angles and stuff. Although, indefy you to take a bad pic of a boob. Go on, SMN, just try. Post it here to love me wrong.
I don't take loads of pics. I take a few. But I like to be present in the moment. I hardly ever go back and look at pics I took. But I also don't have a huge social media presence either. I don't edit anything. I mean, my avatar has no filter. Can you believe that? That's au naturale.
Damn, this place spun out of control as I worked today
I really feel there should be a mustache. Or beard wax used to sculpt the pubs into
a lasso. Something!

< I often wonder how people feel when they post in Ampics about those responses, and have been curious how I would cope there.
< If you were a psychologist youād probably say thereās so many because there were so few of my first child that died and Iām scared shitless of being left without memories like that again one day. >

No one posts here anymore. Shameful.
Iāll ask a question... we all have perceptions of who we are. People see us as this type of person or that type of person. Sometimes those perceptions are incongruent with who we are.
What is it about you that people may find surprising after they get to know you?
For me, the most common thing I hear is āyouāre not such an assholeā.
I posted about this same topic yesterday, saying that sometimes people see me one way and assume that I see myself in as positive a way, but in reality it comes as a surprise and such an unexpected compliment. But when I made that post, Iām pretty sure some eye rolls were directed at me. It bothered me because I know of a lot of people who have a hard time believing it when someone says that they are sexy and beautiful, and Iām not sure why when I said the same thing, I got a snarky response.
So maybe Iām seen as disingenuous? That would be a misconception.
Sometimes people can be assholes. Like, if you have a nice looking avatar, like mine, people automatically assume you think youāre the catās ass. Well, I am the catās ass, but it has zero to do with this comely avatar of mine.
Youāve always seemed quite nice, despite being a fan of the Nationals.
