Expectations. We all have them and proper management of them is key to happiness. But we can't help having them. Wanting more, expecting the worst. Not having any expectations is apathaty and that's a sure way to lose yourself. But, how do you control them? Is there anything wrong with wanting more the next time?
For me, meeting raised expectations has a better return than lowering them and hoping for the best. What's your plan?
I very often don't realize that I've got expectations until I've been disappointed.
Then I learn what I can, make adjustments, and move on. Eventually.
