That depends on the recipient. I've seen some think it goes from flirty to creepy in a new york second. Others, less but I have hopes the numbers are covertly greater, have rated the difference at about a more sedate 5-10 seconds.

I think it depends on the giver, as well. 10 seconds is a loooong time when some creepy person is eyeballing you.

Once direct eye contact is established, I think 2-3 seconds (1 Mississippi, 2 Mississippi, 3 Mississippi) is ideal. Beyond that, it gets awkward.

Unless you know the person and you're eyefucking the bejesus out of each other. In that case, eyebang away!

*hi five*

I beg that there's lots of posts today so we aren't subjected to creepy Nicolas Cage for too long. So the pressure is on.......

Where do you draw the line between helping someone because they truly need it and deciding someone has made a poor choice and needs to deal with the consequences?

If that was an easy answer, we wouldn't have anywhere near the political problems we have today.

That's a pretty fuck philosophical question.

I'll help someone with their first (fuck up) request for help, giving the benefit of them not knowing any better.* The second time around, probably a finger waggle and half the help. Third time, nope.

*of course severity of fuck up plays a part into all of this.

I base "help" on different parameters, than the average person. Someone who has made a poor choice is most likely who I'd help first. Someone who seems truly lost in what to do next is usually the first I'd help. Those who ask for help, might get my assistance, but they might not; it depends on the situation - sometimes adversity helps make us choose better choices.
Those who ask for help simply because they are too lazy, are the last and least likely I'll offer help to.

I'm most likely to pull over to help a woman change a tire or get a lift, not for the creepy factor, but simply for chivalry. Also, I know I dont take advantage of a situation.

There was a woman that was looking for help with a guy following her. Now she wasnt running from him, nor was he towards her. She asked for assistance and I allowed her to stay inside the store I was working at (similar to a 7/11 so I was the only one in it).
He didnt walk in and was just standing outside.
After giving her a sense of security, she proceeded to thumb her nose at him; stick her head out the door, yell at him then duck back inside. He just stood there and didnt do a thing.

After about a minute or so of seeing this going on, I withdrew my offer. She seemed to be the aggressor, and didnt need help. Besides, she was making a scene which is bad for business.

Now I want to change it to Keanu Reeves, just to fuck with y'all. Or Nickleback.

This could be fun... There are plenty more Nick's up my sleeve

I'm not scared, bring on your best Aussie.

So what scares you, truly scares you?

Being surrounded by idiots and realizing that I need to depend on them.

Monday? Is it really the worst day of the week? I feel bad for Tuesday, it sits their in obscurity, with no known identity. Everybody hates on Monday, Wednesday is hump day, Thursday everyone starts thinking ahead to the weekend and Fri -
Sun is our time for fun. But poor Tuesday, just sits there being Tuesday. What can we do, what can we plan to make tomorrow and the rest of our Tuesday not be forgotten?

No known identity? Er, "Titty Tuesday"? :D

I prefer "Whip em out Wednesdays," but I'm an old Opie and Anthony fan.

Mondays:
Monday, Monday, can´t trust that day...
Rainy days and Mondays always get me down...
Just another manic Monday...
I stayed the cold day with a lonely satellite; New moon on Monday...

As far as Tuesdays, it's not all so bad:
Tuesday's child is full of grace
If we didnt have 'til tuesday, we wouldnt have gotten Voices Carry

Oh I love Voices Carry, such a lovely song... Saw her (post TT) in a tiny pub in a town near to me years and years ago. Weird, but good :)

There is always Titty Tuesday!

For me, I am kind of fond of Tuesdays. It tends to be the quietest day for me at work, allowing me to focus on actually accomplishing things, so I have come to enjoy them immensely over the last couple of years.

Also, you get the best service at the local bar on Tuesday because once the after work crew goes home you pretty much have the place to yourself, making it perfect to shoot pool or throw some darts.
