The topic for Friday, Lit events. That is, if there was a gathering of Lit people in an location easily traveled to for you, would you go? Would you go if none of your Lit buddies were there? I suspect that the married, secretly here crowd would struggle with attending such an event. But what about the single, in an open relationship partner knows I'm here crowd? Would bring out in public with Litsters cause you anxiety?

If I could get away I'd go no matter who was there. I can get along with just about anyone really. I imagine it'd be fun. Anxiety over what? I'm not really shy.

I'm single and most likely would go to the litogether. I don't get along with everyone and those one or two would almost assuredly suggest that a donnybrook would be in the making and that would be a reason that I might not. I like having fun, I don't go looking for fights.
Then again, online personalities don't necessarily equate to the real life personalities.
It also depends on which groups were gathering... If it was playground folks, then I don't see a problem, but if it was the Gen board or political board gathering, then I'd pass.

I went to a fet life gathering for Halloween. It was ok..but I really wished I had known more people. I'm a bit of a wall flower (imagine
) so it would have been super nice to know I 'knew' a bunch of people. It was also an event so I didn't feel pressured to do anything other than attend and have fun.Saying that..I daydream of a lit cruise a fair bit..I definitely attend anything from coffee to a party depending on how safe I felt.

I'd absolutely go. But if no one I knew was attending, I'd need to talk one of them into it. I'm a terrible introvert and there's nothing worse than walking into a gathering alone.
