I'm that person that's always early so I can't think of anything really noteworthy. I probably could have skipped today's question. Maybe a one off power went out and over slept for work but my internal alarm clock is pretty OK so it wasn't to terribly late.

My internal clock is really annoying. I'm one of those people who can't sleep all night if I have an appointment, flight, or something important in the morning. Wide awake at 4am with no hope of going back to sleep. So I really don't think I've missed anything.

The only time I've overslept and it made me miss something was when I was in high school. I went to a party, had a few beverages and slept through the beginning of my 6am breakfast shift at McDonald's. My mom made me get up and go in late, with a quesy hangover to boot. That was a long, horrible shift. Ugh.

I was late to my presentation in microprocessor class in college. I had my presentation prepared three or four days before. I just had to put the code in, which was finished. I did it. It wiped out about 75% of the presentation. I was freaking out. My father helped me recover about 2/3 of it. But the presentation was 40+ pages. So I stayed up until about 3:30am getting it fixed. I set 3 alarms. One I actually set for 6:30 PM instead of AM. The one on my phone went off but the volume was down. The other one... the battery died.

I showed up after class. I went to the professor and talked to him. He was super cool about it. He knew my project was done early and he had no problem. He was a kind professor. Very understanding.

This story still makes me cringe.
