I agree that the person thinking up the weird stuff is darker. Usually, I believe, their intent is to debase and humiliate someone else for their own pleasure or profit. And that shit ain't right.

Just for the record, as someone with a few daddy issues, I have never had a whisk nor any other large, inanimate object up my butt. On a related note, I have a friend who is an ER nurse and it is usually men (with daddy issues?) who they see in the ER with objects that they "fell on" stuck up their poop chutes. You bunch of prostate rubbing pervs. ;)

It's very easy to slip and fall ass first. Please reserve your judgments for those who deserve them!

There are few things better than trying to read between the lines. In many ways, whatever we seek never lays out in the open but instead must be worked out. I believe there's a saying along the lines of "the greater the effort, the greater the reward"

How hard will you work for whatever you're seeking? When does the effort surpass the reward? Are some rewards so good that that whatever the effort, you'll always be willing to make it?

It depends on the reward, and to a certain extent, the congeniality of the effort required. If it’s something I want, or think I want, I willing to put in considerable, sustained effort.

I worked my way through several degrees only to find I disliked the working environment in my field. Some people might view all those years as a waste. I view it as an incredibly valuable experience, one that enriched my sum of knowledge and provided a stepping stone to a new adventure.

Some people do well with a “snatch and grab” doctrine. For me, the journey seems to be an integral part of the experience. :)

I agree with Endless_Night. To quote the great spiritualist and philosopher Steven Tyler, from his sobering and inspirational ode to living on the edge, Amazing:
"That one last shot's a Permanent Vacation. And how high can you fly with broken wings? Life's a journey not a destination, and I just can't tell just what tomorrow brings."

Deep thoughts.

...Unless we are talking about yard work. In which case I will not work very hard.

But I like to watch.

I'll work very hard for what I want. I do my best to get it. However, sometimes I realize my pursuit is in vain. In which case, I'll abandon the mission. Sometimes you're throwing good money after bad, so to speak.

Cheers! (See what I did there, Trekka?)

Cheers! (See what I did there, Trekka?)

Making your way in the world today
takes everything you've got.
Taking a break from all your worries,
sure would help a lot.

....Wouldn't you like to get away?

Ooooooh! Trekka sighting!

I was just thinking about you the other day. If you haven't already disappeared into the internetty abyss, what was that saying you once posted? The one about being kind but being honest. Or something along those lines....

And what the heck are those things^? Raccoons?

Hi EN! Mean what you say, say what you mean, but don't say it mean…

And those are red pandas. :)

Koalas look cute, too. Those Chlamydia infested melon ballers

I will never ball a melon the same again.
