I'll accept my doppelgänger there. :)

Happy Mother's Day to everyone, mom's or not.

For a Sunday special: I suspect many have sutanned in the nude. My question is, had anyone ever sunburned their bits? It has to have happened. My self centered perspective thinksnthat a guy sunburning his cock would have to hurt more than pussy/boob burns. Maybe I'm wrong.

I once had a patient with second degree burns to his left testicle after falling asleep with his nuts protruding from his budgie smugglers.

It's one of my favorite stories to tell.

You tell it brilliantly.

I've sunburned my ass. Couldn't sit down for days.
I have permanent freckles from it now. :D

I've also suffered a sunburned bum after falling asleep on my tummy while sunbathing. It is definitely uncomfortable.

I have sunbathed topless a time or twelve, but I always take great care to put extra SPF on the girls. ;)

I can sunburn in 15 minutes. No joke. Irish skin. I don't sunbathe nude, but all of my swimsuits are cut differently and so my breasts get sunburned quite badly, spf or not, when I change suits to one that's more revealing. I have no freckles where my skin hasn't been exposed. I have freckles everywhere else. So you can always clearly tell where my suits cover.

I've only sunbathed nude once, and I wasn't alone so it quickly evolved into other, umm, activities.

On the whole, I'm just not a sunbather. I don't tan, too fair skinned. I just burn, freckle, and peel. I've learned to enjoy the outdoors from the shade of the porch or in long sleeves and a hat.

Soooo, does the question mean that you've sunburned your dangly bits?

Also part Irish, and entirely Northern European descent. Not much of a sunbather and certainly never nude. Yikes, the very idea! I burned my feet last summer simply by going to the dog park in flip flops.

I have burned my cleavage once or thrice. Those long, flowy dresses designed for beach wear are deceptive. You think you're protected, but they tend to leave that area exposed.

I did some tanning bed time before I went on vacation in February. A few weeks in I got upgraded to the big kahuna bed. All fancy with misting spray and stronger bulbs. Yeah....
Not the kinda upgrade I was expecting.

Do you supposed Papa C is just sitting back and jerking off to thoughts of sun-crisped tits and ass?

And the bacon grease makes for some incredible lube. I'm just sad that the rest of you haven't discover the nirvana of bacon and masturbarion. .

I think this is how the pilgrims used to masturbate, right?

The bacon conversation highlights our inability to resist things that taste incredible even though we know that it's not the best for us? Is this a self-discipline issue? Is there a sexual act that you engage in that you know will hurt more later but the current pleasure it brings is too good? And this is an essay question, not just a yes/no. ;)

It can be a self-discipline issue, but I don't think that's always the case. I know brownies aren't the best for me. I have the ability to resist them, I just choose not to. I budget for them. If I'm having a brownie day, I cut back on calories elsewhere and make sure it's also a treadmill day.

I'm not sure how to turn 'no' into a lengthy response. There are a few sexual experiences I'd like to try that probably aren't a good idea, but nothing that I'm currently doing is bad/good. Or is that good/bad?

I’m a chocoholic. Self-discipline issue? Absolutely. I’m also a fan of maintaining my body, so it’s a constant struggle. Sort of like good and evil. ;)

I was just going to say no, but I’ll try an flesh it out. I was on my own early, and worked in clubs to support myself and get through school. Lot’s of crazy stuff to do and see, but somehow (probably do to my natural prudery :D) I came through having tried practically nothing. So, no.

There is lots of stuff I'd like to try, but I am slow to move. Just how I roll.

I'm going to say no, in the strict sense of the question (i.e. being blinded by hedonistic urges). However, there is something similar that I do. I tend to push myself to do things that I know will be difficult or painful, not because they give me any physical pleasure but because they help me to validate myself (spiritual pleasure?).

For example, I mostly overcame my shyness by forcing myself into difficult social situations that were important to me and finding ways to get by. Similarly, I countered the script foisted on me in my youth that I was rubbish at sport and unathletic by finding some activities in which I could compete fairly well — and most recently by training for and completing a marathon.

I guess that is a self-discipline issue for me, but in a different sense to the one that Chained meant in the question. :)

I faced my shyness head on as well. I accepted a position that is approximately 90% public speaking. I knew it would be difficult, almost impossible. I also knew it would force me out of my shell. Now, I can talk to groups about anything. I may still feel insecure at times, particularly in one on one situations, but that's a different issue. I'm working on that one, too.
