Saunters in. Suspects it will be a quiet next 3 or 4 days around here. I'll probably have to answer my question just to facilitate engagement.....nahhhhh.....

i'm enthralled with parking lot (or car park for you Brits) behavior. The people that always back into a stall, the people that pull straight through into a stall, those that drive around forever looking for that closest spot, those that can't back out of their stall to save their life. So what is it about parking between two straight lines along with a bunch of other people doing the exact same thing, that makes it so hard?

I don't drive around looking for the closest spot or just sitting and waiting for one to open up. I'm too impatient for that. I don't like door dings, therefore I will park next to someone or in between two people who actually CAN park. The lines are there for a REASON. Use it. It annoys me when people, regardless of what they drive, do not know how to park their vehicle.

No one chooses for their car to be damaged by others, yet, a lot of people show indifference to others. They park their vehicles like the whole parking lot belongs to them. Ugh.

How do you know they're not just a shit driver?

I once had someone chained their bicycle through mine to the railing
which was quite rude

My biggest driving pet peeve are the morons who don't notice the light change.

Easter eve, I'm surprised the greeting card industry hasn't jumped on this one yet. Wording would be a bit tricky but they have quality writers, I'm sure they would find just the perfect sentence.

There are several "holidays" we all accept as pretty much greeting card holidays. Sweetest Day, Grandparent's Day, We Beat Russia to the Moon Day. My topic is a two parter, which of greeting card holidays do you find most egregious? And come up with your own greeting card day like Easter Eve.

Can't help but wonder where Pmann is with his bigger than most Ptruck. I bet his is so big he has to go to Canada to park.
Do you guys get Ice Road Truckers? I had a bit of a crush on Lisa Kelly http://cdn.hitfix.com/photos/3264067/Lisa-Kelly_featured_photo_gallery.jpg

Yooooooooou can eat an AIDS dick.

I'm sure Pmann's "bigger than life" truck is a very complex machine...
Yes, I saw Ice Road Truckers in the Pass a few times.

(Must be a Fellini thing)

And yoooooooou can eat an AIDS dick.

I don't drive a truck. I drive an SUV and a Sedan. They're sophisticated and classy. All yalls trucks can eat an AIDS dick.

I find cards of all sorts to be wasteful. I know. I sound like a grinch. But wait! I have some logic for it. I would rather you just spend an extra $5 on the gift rather than a card. I know, I sound like a 6 year old. But I don't care. It's like, "Here is a Christmas gift. And here is a card to remind you it is a Christmas gift." I just feel like greeting cards are the biggest scam we've got going. But I'm not sentimental.

Easter cards?

Here's mine. And this would sell. And it would be worth the $5. It would say:

Happy Easter. Let's fuck like bunnies.

I used to teach a holiday traditions program to elementary school students at the museum. And we always did the history of Christmas cards. It all started with some rich busy guy who didn't have time to write all of his friends and family at Christmas. So he comissioned some art...wrote a form letter...and voila...guilt be gone. And the saying goes...if it's popular it will spread.
Really...I think cards help us feel like we're keeping in touch and perhaps hide the fact that it's our only contact with those people often.

In my family we don't give a card with a present, we send one to the dear and beloved too far away to visit on the day. Christmas&New Year (it is only one card for the two holidays), birthdays, and other days we deem important enough. The presents we get and give when we see each other in person. Which means I travel to the Netherlands with a suitcase filled with gifts once a year or every two years and travel back with a presents filled one too.

An egregious greeting card holiday … I have no idea. Here the aforementioned days are pretty much those the greeting card industry provides for, in catholic regions there are Easter cards and First Holy Communion cards though.

Happy Easter, eat a bunny!

Real nice talk there, Pmann.
Please show a bit of decorum, lest we cast disgusting greetings upon you...
Think about it !!
