I once got caught jerking off in high school in the restroom. That was fucking embarrassing. Actually, it wasn't that bad.

It was that hot ass moderator's way of flirting with me. I'm sure of it! She must've seen it when she was post stalking me.

And there's like a million dick pics on this site.

That hot ass moderator sees more than you think.

I'm an enigma wrapped in a mystery.

And Bane reminds me of Kurt Cobain who was married to Courtney Love who was in Trapped with Kevin Bacon. Boom. From ConAir to Kevin Bacon in less than six degrees.

A. Is that first part a lyric from a Taylor Swift song?

B. Bane was in Batman, not ConAir.

What embarrasses me?

This is going to sound so un-Azul-like, but mistakes embarrass me.
I hate it when I mess up. I hate it when I make a mistake and it causes others to do more or work harder and I get on my own ass more than anyone else could. It's a perfectionist complex I think.

I also hate being embarrassed in public. I turn so red when the Mrs does something funny and it attracts attention......

Okay, I am weird.

It's simple again today. What embarasses you the most? What if/when it happens makes you cringe. Not something that you're a little uncomfortable but rather something that you try to avoid at all costs.

Being singled out in a group of people.

For example, one time I was called up on stage to receive a silly award at a company event and I had no idea it was going to happen. There was a spotlight was involved, I had to give an on-the-fly speech to a crowd of 200+, pose for a picture, etc. - I was dying of embarrassment. And if someone comments on my appearance or pays me even the tiniest compliment in front of a group of people - I blush like a silly schoolgirl.

I wish I could be more graceful about it. It's embarrassing that I get embarrassed. *sigh*

I'm pretty sure that hot ass moderator was flirting with me. That's how that went down in my eyes.

A. Maybe.

B. I didn't say Bane was in ConAir. But the first one that Papa C posted was from ConAir. You may not see him if you have him on ignore.

But you're forgiven.

Hot ass moderator can hang out here all she wants (yes, I'm sucking up to a mod. Deal with it!).

Shameful. Seriously. Shameful.

Saunters in. Suspects it will be a quiet next 3 or 4 days around here. I'll probably have to answer my question just to facilitate engagement.....nahhhhh.....

i'm enthralled with parking lot (or car park for you Brits) behavior. The people that always back into a stall, the people that pull straight through into a stall, those that drive around forever looking for that closest spot, those that can't back out of their stall to save their life. So what is it about parking between two straight lines along with a bunch of other people doing the exact same thing, that makes it so hard?

I used to always make fun of people who backed their cars in all the time. Then I had to drive a large truck or van for work every once in a while. Then I realized how difficult it is to back those out of spots. So, I was a little more empathetic.

I am always amazed at the people who take five shots to park their tiny little car in massive spots. Our lot has huge spots, made to accommodate big trucks and vans. This one guy here has this tiny ass Honda Fit that he can't park for shit. It's like he drives an F650. He's always over a line or parked crooked. And they are angled spots.

I'm a complex human. Not everyone gets me.

And for those who still don't get it... I was calling DarkSimian a White Knight.

I got it PMann...and yes, I am a White Knight, and proud of it. I know I don't always get laid by the fair damsels, but I'm there, and sometimes, that counts more than knotches on the bedpost....:)

But can Americans parallel park? To be fair we're not allowed to do this so much in the UK since parking on a street usually means a fine, unless you live there and have paid for a licence to park but which doesn't guarantee you a space.

once upon a time, parallel parking was required to get a driver's license here in Texas. Now, I'm not sure what the requirements are? A pulse?

Parallel parking is still required, though not used a bunch in actual driving and parking these days.

I'm one of those people that will pull straight through whenever possible. If not, I'll back in to a stall. Two reasons:

1. I drive a big ass truck. It's not easy to maneuver in parking lots, particularly when others park too close.

2. I don't back up well. I'm aware of my deficiency and compensate for it. If I MUST back up, it's better to back in to a space of my choosing than wait and try to back out of one. While I'm parked other drivers come and go, so I have no control over my "back up" clearance.

I bet you back (it) up just fine. :rose:

So many thoughts.

1- My BF drives a big ass pick-up. So I now understand the need to back into a space.
2- I cannot park with the radio on. Am I alone?
3- I can parallel park like nobody's business. /nailbuff
4- To quote George Costanza, "I'm very good at going in reverse in my car."
5- I park and un-park quickly. I like that. Adjusting the mirrors, applying lipstick, plugging in my phone, etc. All that can be done as I drive out of the lot. Yet, I hit a lot of curbs :) Perhaps I need to tweak my strategy there.
