Literotica Has Shrunk

I've been gone for a while and just returned. It looks like the literotica community has really shrunk. I remember when there were 500 or more people viewing the personals. Now we're down to 118 people. Yikes. Shame. Hopefully there are still a fair amount of naughty ladies out there.

I was away as well for a good long time because Lit Chat which I enjoyed was just TOOOO MUCH. The tech so bad and unresponsive, it became unbearable. Those running this site apparently are unconcerned about user friendly experience. Anyway, I left. I came back and Chat was simply - gone. No explanation- nothing, but par for the course no? Now I once in awhile hang around the bulletin boards, but you cant really chat doing that. As for the stories...most clunkers...so boring, badly written or stupid its barely worth the time to search for a good one- if such a thing exists. And of course the "authors" all think that they can actually right...well I guess they can, if you consider writing w/ one hand while you masturbate w/ the other- a talent for writing. Oh AND the "authors" are very sensitive about their "work." Really?

The chat never seems to work. Your options are either pull up a seat and make yourself comfortable here or like you said move along. The threads are filled with great people to chat with. You have to be approachable and patient though. Best of luck to you.

Does seem to be lot of quiet times these days. Mind you, I tend to take a few sabbaticals, so perhaps a few people are also on theirs.

I believe to be the most valid reason. I've also noticed the same dozen or so names that show up regularly here. Those two factors alone could easily explain some of the...err...shrinkage.

Yes, whatever happened to the chat? I used to chat there regularly for years, me some great people, and fun times. Anybody know why it hasn't been fixed?
It has been at least 9 months now since it just went dead!
