Openning the door to the bar I notice that it is a little chilly. Walking over to the fire I put a couple of logs on the fire and stoke it. Just as I thought the wood box needs to be filled again. Walking into the back I check the room and notice that these woodboxes should be refilled also.

With Kaybar and Jaybar following me I make several trips out to the wood pile and finally get all of the wood boxes filled. There that should last a while.

I appears that I missed a lot and took a bit to catch up. Welcome to the new people and also to the regulars that I missed. I do miss connecting with the Fair Dragonette. Living in way different time zones makes it difficult to get together I guess.

Hanging up my cloak, chainmail and buckler on a couple of pegs by the door. I notice that there are a few dirty glasses left over from earlier. Washing them up and cleaning up the bar and putting a good polish on it I am satisified that it will be ready if anyone comes in. Kaybar and Jaybar moved over to the fire and lie down on either side of the fire on the hearth.

Making a large pitcher of Dragon's Fire with double Fire. It is cold and the fire still has not yet warmed up the room. I pour a flaggon from the pitcher and leave the pitcher on the bar. Setting my flaggon on the side table by the fire I sit down in the chair and move about restlessly until I find a comfortable spot, leaning back into a relaxing position.

I do wish that Dragonette would tell me her favorite color, I don't think that she liked the emerald. She should wear a gem of her favorite color on a chain of gold. Perhaps she will tell me the next time she breezes into the bar. I seem to bemissing teh Fair Feisty as well. Perhaps I can stay around tonight if nothing comes up that requires my attention in my realm.

Thinking back to what I read, so Dragonette thought that myy challenges were too easy, though I did not post all of them. It is time to post a new challenge. Thinking, I find a pen and some paper and begin to write.

Walking in,I see Tamer's cloak on the wall,along with his scabbard but don't see him. As I head for the hallway,I hear a low growl...there is Jaybar laying at the entrance to the hall...Kaybar laying at the door to the room Tamer has been using. He must be tired from carrying all that wood in. I will have to remember to thank him when I see him again.
After hanging up my coat,I toss some logs on the fire...and kneel there for a few minutes,staring into the flames...wondering what bedazzler is doing now. Is he here watching...waiting?

Ohhh! Carrie- I hate I missed you! I was reading Bedazzler's last post...trying to decide if I want to try his idea. I've never done this sort of story before... it could be fun! Did you ever read the Dragon Riders of Pern books? It sounds like it'll be something like that...

Help me pick a character... it has to suit me or it won't work. I can't think of anything that would be meaty enough to really grab me. I can see you though... remember the Av you had at Halloween? you and the Dragon? Why couldn't you be the one who teaches young people to ride, and care for the dragons... I just happen to know a site wgere theres a very special golden dragon popping out of an egg. It would be up to you to decide who pairs with it. (if I can lift the picture)

Sorry I don't answer sooner, but I try to read all my messages in order and answer that way, so it takes me a while as things have been busy since I last flew through here

Walking into the Bar this morning I see a message from Bedazzler floating in the air...Telling everyone that he hoped they had a good holiday!
I am saddened that Bedazzler is so disenchanted with me since RL has taken me away from the Tower...but I couldn't just keep taking off on these trips,wonderful as they were!
