Well, I guess that I'll finally fess up.

For starters, in terms of non-romantic crushes.....Vana, RedHairedandFriendly, Elzeothis, InnerKitty, Lady Jeanne, Hallowed Eve, Mal, A.B. Guye, plainjane, ElizabethT, Imp, Ent, Selena, Wishfulthinking, OhMissScarlett, Jennifer Kaye, CarsonShepherd, EL, Honey, and Roxanne Appleby. I'll mention more as they come to me. Just remember, it's just a crush. I'm only mentioning this because I was encouraged by comments in EL's Shelter that we should all share such things, not holding them back. I never told Colly of my non-romantic crush on her, because I feared that she would get the wrong idea, when it was just a non-romantic deal. I regret that. I should have given her more credit. I don't want to repeat that mistake, in case I lose any of my other AH friends, Gods forbid. Shuddering at that thought.

You're welcome. Sorry that happened to you. I was just inspired to tell the truth by what I read in the Shelter and by my own regrets over not telling it that time. And, for me, I'll confess, it started with the story about the Greek God Poseidon and his lover, some time ago. Your AV and your articulate essay on how to choose wisely for oneself between Poly and Mono didn't hurt. As a swinger, I was glad to read something relevant and thoughtful on the subject.

I don't think list threads will disappear though because we're all writers and artists and we all love to have our Ego's stroked, patted, fondled etc etc etc.

I can understand why people feel as they do, been there, done that. I've NOT appeared on loads of list threads *L* I gave up getting upset about it though, took the list threads as an opportunity to spread a ray of sunshine into someone elses life. I use them to make my friends feel better and I love to do that and to see someone pleased by something I've written is 100 times better than seeing my name on a thread like this.
