Here's an idea ...

What if there was a thread where people could post their ideas about how to make Lit a better place!

Not that it ain't great, already.

But I'm sure that many of us get ideas about new discussion boards, software upgrades, how posters might improve things, etc.

Some suggestions might work, and others might not. This whole thread is an experiment, and might fall quickly to page gazillion. We'll see!

Yogi, another V-board I visit has it, and it's not that great. In fact, I've lost posts there because sometimes it times out. Plus, spell check makes you lazy.

The "ignore" feature was a request on a similar thread long ago. Many suggestions back then were convered in the current version of the board.

It never hurts to keep improving though. My only suggestion at the moment would be to have the search function work better than it does for a longer period of history.

I often wish I could ignore "unregistered guest", but that would be a serious problem with the cookie monster- My post would come up unreg, then I'd have to goof around before I could read my own post , so that I could quote it to say "that was me"

Good idea! Lit needs at least one fjord iin each bulletin board, preferably several per board, but I know how expensive that can be.

I can get mine done in five minutes, tops. And it's not even that gross.

Actually most of the features here at the boards are out of their hands, I believe. Unless they were to customize this version. The bulliten board setup is used all over the Internet.
