Going to show how tech impaired I am.

Something odd happened yesterday. I came onto lit and the print is so small I can barely read what I am typing. The entire forum shows up like this.

Story side is fine and every other site I visit is fine. But the lit forum is very tiny. I have done nothing different that I know of and as for fixing it? I restarted the lap top and that was the extent of my ideas.

Any ideas or suggestions? I use mozilla if that matters.

And do me a favor if you answer> Use big fonts, I'm not kidding:eek:

It probably means that you changed the display style - bottom left hand corner of your screen. Try another one such as vBulletin3

My laptop uses Windows 8, and this happens a lot, whether in Firefox or Chrome (I don't use IE). Ctrl+ is your friend. My proper computer in the study runs on Windows 7 at my specific request to the lovely system builders, and it never happens on that. I wonder what system you are using?

It has happened to me in Windows 7 (which I rushed to get when 8 was coming out, because there were so many horror stories about 8) I have a nobbed wheel symbol t the top right of my screen. It's the tools button and has zoom on it. When this happens to me I reset that to 125 percent, and they it's OK again.

Hey I have windows 7, but your control + trick worked so thank you very much!

I have 7, but the nobbed wheel does not have zoom.

However I have a yahoo toolbar installed and that might be why I'm not seeing what you do.

...I should make a joke about hit alt then f then x....

Try oggs suggestion 1st.
If that doesn't work:

Zoom current window for mozilla should be ctrl+

Mozilla also has internal color and text settings: (top menu) Tools-->Options-->Content Tab-->Size

All browsers use the same key strokes for zoom, it is an industry standard.

Ctrl +, Ctrl - and Ctrl 0

Ctrl + zooms in, thus making the text and pictures bigger

Ctrl - zooms out, making the text and pictures smaller

Ctrl 0 resets the browser window back to normal.

You can also press Ctrl and use your mouse wheel to zoom in and out. To return to normal you still have to press Ctrl 0.

Any zoom effect for a particular web page will be remembered until the cache is cleared or Ctrl 0 is pressed.

Chrome displays the percent zoom in or out in the upper right hand corner of the browser. There is also a button to reset the zoom, it does disappear when you release the Ctrl key.
