Yes, I realize that this is a very old thread and the OP is long gone from Lit but I still find this idea intriguing especially since there is now Zoom which would meet the original post of multiple cams. Just thought I would resurrect this thread to put the idea back out there again.

It is almost always guys posting. lol. I would love to know what the actual male to female active user ratio is on Lit. It is like real life here, there are those guys that can come into Lit and almost immediately make a connection while most of us that just float around the edges, hoping but never finding.

I have always wondered what the ratio is here as well as on dating sites. I tend to be a lurker for most of it but this does intrigue me

I'd imagine it is similar to dating sites, and from what I hear the ladies on here tend to get the same issues as on dating sites with dick pics.. etc... which is a shame but I guess unfortunately comes with the territory.

Here the dick pics are kind of a part of the territory but a dating site you would hope would be less prevalent but sadly not so much

You are correct though, manners are perhaps even more important when 'courting'....I am always curious if it ever actually works???

Do ladies see it, without a hello, and think...'he's the one for me'...or is it simply about them getting off themselves, regardless??

I read an interesting article where it said that the ratios is really skewed on the dating sites too. It said that they use bogus profiles to keep guys paying. Who knows what the truth really is.

So why lurk rather than participating in the threads? We can definitely use more women perspectives.

Kind of sad on a dating site to use fake profiles to keep the guys there. I get it from the business perspective and the skewed participation numbers

The real question is why is it that way? What keeps the women away from Lit and dating sites? In some countries the real numbers are skewed but the world is mostly 50-50 split between men and women so why the lack of interest from women? Why aren't there more women participating on the Lit threads? Is it a general lack of sexual interest from women that keeps them from finding a site like Lit in the first place?

If you watch the Skype thread it is almost all guys posting with a few women scattered on the thread. Is it a lack of confidence that women have of their body's that keeps them away from playing on Skype or is it just so few women on Lit? I believe from a guy's perspective, visual and sound are so much more arousing than typing out words but that just be my preference.

I've had a few Skype experiences from Lit, but they're few and far between. I even ended up meeting up with one of my online cam partners for a dirty weekend... that was most memorable.

Someday, I hope to Skype again!

I totally agree that men and women are different in how they are aroused. For me it is not just the visual but the seduction, knowing that I am slowly getting her aroused, hearing and seeing her growing arousal that I find so stimulating. Skype gives the opportunity to blend written words, sound and visual into an erotic experience.
