A friend of mine does my hair once a month.She half the price of going to a salon. Instead of having highlites I went for the complete thing last time 2 weeks ago.But when you consider some of the gifs I put up have to be reduced in color to make them fit on here. 256. 128 .64 .32. 16 .and even 8 colors can change hair color and skin tones .a lot of thev gifs fall into 64 colors but I'd rather use at least 128, but then the file size is too big to fit on here. Thats where a lot of color variants happen , ie a red thong turns pink at 32 colors

That thing about reducing the colors to reduce the file size is a pretty good idea I had not tried before.

When I want to reduce the file size on the jpg's I post I just reduce the quality 30 or 40 % and the file size drops but the quality on the computer still looks good.

Would that work for the gif files you think?

I'm afraid it does'nt work that way with gifs.I wish it would .........Theres a control called loss that means loss of quality thats similar to what you're talking about .But we're talking about a lot of information stored on one file ...........Its a bit complicated to explain.

It doesn't have to be too complicated to lose me. I am not really up on photo editing as you are so all I need to know is the answer is no. Lol

Oh, Spice is right about your hair.Blonde looks good on you but I knew that from the pics you did with the blond wig.

All this internet stuff echos through my head...............ie 72 psi is the ideal setting to scan pics.................ie when you are using a digi camera if you set it to this small resolution the pics are useless except for use on here(try and get a print 5x4 of of a frame from your camera with that low resolution).On our camera you can get 128 shots on that res but then they are useless for anything else..............So what do you do ,when you take a nice shot and want to hang it on the wall you can't cos you shot it for the internet.SLR is still the best because you can take a high res pic and scan it at 72 dpi and still have the print to hang on the wall. Ramble on. MY BRAIN HURTS Derr.

Hi yall..
I dont have a fancy program. In fact its yrs old,, & each step, is just that. A step.. & my camera sucks.. But I tke the original, SAVE that, then reduce it by however want.. save it,(renaming it. so still have the original) Then do whatever I want to the new copy. & if it fucks up.... Doesnt matter.. still got the original. In a different folder..(file/ whatever they like to call all this confusing puter shit)
This may have been a "simpleton" answer & not directly address to what you guys are talken 'bout. I dont print out 8 X 10's, cause my camera doesnt have the necessary quality. So I may be off. But I do know, that once you have the data in youre puter, you can work it, all you want!!!! & creativity is the only bottle neck. Many ways to change file sizes. & I dont know them all.. Yes,, colors. size, quality.. is just a beginning. cool: Almost like talken bout sex...)

Well, Aint been much of a help. But gave me somethen to do for a few minutes.. If you guys play with it.

I really like the first one though. It kept the girl yet made her all the more sexy. I do love marilyn. Funny how I have seen many a face far prettier than she, yet Marilyn made herself gorgeous with her personality. She never knew just how much she meant to people, so it seems.
