Yes I agree. But to all those people that comment on the fact that we should continue negotiating. I would like to ask them all, "have you ever lived in the middle east". I,m sure most of the do gooders have'nt. They should try it for two years . Apart from being a big culture shock they would realise that these people are very difficult to deal with. For example.If an Arab strikes you and you hit back . he thinks he is hard done by because our culture teaches not to behave that way(amazing ).
We in their eyes have no right to retaliation. THIS IS A CULTRAL AND REIGIOUS WAR.The whole world will not be dominated by ISLAM as they would have it. Its all a matter of ignorance by people living in the 21st century with 11th century attitudes.

Its to each, their own way of dealing with a horrific tragedy. For the terrorists, it IS a day of celebration. For us Americans its a day of rememberance, observance, a tribute to all that tried to help, A mourning of the passing of all the innocents,& I could carry on.
I agree a little, with Benders point, We had a weenie roast at work to commemorate the day. there was supposed to be a moment of silence @ 8:46(time of 1st strike)& so few people seemed to give a shit when the announcement was made.
Bender,,dude,,,I am pretty sure that there are very few people on U.S. soil that are CELEBRATING for the terrorists sake.

Sept. 11 was declared a National Holiday, today, By The US President and Congress................

So.........we are now going to celebrate it every year.............

I'm sure Hallmark is changing the Calender as we speak..............

Webster has a page in his dictionary for celebration......

Guess more people will have a day off work !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Silken..........I believe that you are to young to fully understand any of what is going on with the US of America.

This is a war that is far worse than Vietnam.....................

I just got done reading, about a few that got off the ground that day,(!!!!) WITHOUT THEIR COMMANDERS ORDERS TO DO SO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (fighter pilots) in aviation history mag.
It was Pearl Harbor.
Probably the only thing that comes even CLOSE to the horrific act of 9/11/2001
Now I didnt live it, but am sure all the world held some kind of VIGALANCE on that day for quite a few years.
Again bender my friend,, I WAS in the service, that incident, that day , that act, ,,,,,WILL always be PERSONAL!!!! but I wont let it affect me, the way people observe it.

The "book" which one are you reffering to??? & which version??& no I havent read them.
But I DO understand what was meant by each issue, towards humanity, in its writings!!!!!!!!!! &&& in each version.
Certain talks about "following " really disturb me.... Thays why I do not follow any one church or faith.
