It is in honor or the memory of those that past...
celebrating the unity that was caused in the horrific
acts of violence toward us. Letting the world know
that we will not fall quietly without a fight or remembrance
to the vunerable time that was inflicted upon us
This is done out of respect for the innocent people that lost their lives. Nothing can exscuse the actions of these ISLAMIC terrorist . Its the furthest thing from a celebration, and anyone who see's it that way must be dimented. And there is one thing for sure neither of our countries will sit back and say"we invited it " because we did'nt.Synnerman said:![]()
Lips, I just want you to know that myself and many other Americans do appreciate the sentiment portrayed in your signature line. It is nice to know the Brits are with the Yanks on this one.
Remembering is not a celebration, I will not forget either. Thank you.

tell me do you celebrate christmas/haunaka, forth of july, easter/passover, holloween, thanksgiving, or any of the other holidays??
Every holiday can be linked to a death a tragedy...
CARRY ON I'M RIGHT BEHIND YOU.silken_mystery said:Again Bender it isn't celebrating the acts of the terrorists...

Every holiday can be linked to a death a tragedy... so to say that this is celbrating the terrorist act and not the unity that was caused is absured. Perhaps there isn't unity where you are but in my neck of the woods their is. I will bend myself for another person if it will help them. That is the type of person that I am, to give without thought of anything in return. Just to love and mourn those that lost knowing that they have gone to a place where the demons of the world can no longer hurt them. I am sorry if I am going out on a tangent here. But honestly Bender your words are an insult. I have pride in who I am and my heritage no matter what had happened in the past to my country. It is my home and will always call me back when I am away from it's shores. America is a place all it's own with great diversity. I have yet to see another country with such a plethora of things to offer and still survive under the strains inflicted.
Lips sorry for taking over your thread... *hugs*

THANKS ,but the days almost over ,its 4.50 pm.LewisK said:Lips hope your day goes well sweetie
I've found some Star wars publicity shots from the original film .So look out for them soon as saucy animations
Some call them terrorists. Not me because I am in no way terrorized or even slightly frightened by them. I call them cowardly assholes because they chose not to wage war openly, against our trained military personnel, but to attack innocent men, women and children.lipscum said:This is done out of respect for the innocent people that lost their lives. The terrible act that the US experienced and is remembering
was created by the US..........Started by our Presidents father......
So why is the US Celebrating ?????????????
Yes I agree. But to all those people that comment on the fact that we should continue negoiating. I would like to ask them all, "have you ever lived in the middle east". I,m sure most of the do gooders have'nt. They should try it for two years . Apart from being a big culture shock they would realise that these people are very difficult to deal with.steelcock said:Some call them terrorists. No! Today, 9/11/02 is not a day of celebration, but a day of mourning and remembrance of the loss
To this I say maybe, but even if true they and all of the other factions in the Middle East had best take care. Let them come to my neck of the woods and start some shit. We'll finish it for them post haste
