Can anyone instruct me how to create and send a link to a particular story?

Select and copy the URL in your address bar, then paste it in your email or PM. Most programs these days will automatically make that a link for the recipient.

By e-mail or in a post or your sig line?

The URL's for your stories are listed at the bottom of the section in you story list. Copy that link and use the "Insert Link" icon at the top of the post box. past it there. when you hit enter, the link will appear in the post with a blue section. type the name of the story there and it will appear in place of the link when you submit reply.

The same applies for your sig line.

For e-mails, just copy and paste
