It was a standard race tbh, but Norris made some desperate overtakes which worked, curse Yuki being so reckless. Like im sure he was told to aid but dangerous driving was just stupid

LeClerc had me on my seat for a moment till he edged off. Piastri I feel suffered from another pitwall failure, he should have pitted long before he did and them priorising Norris once LeClerc pitted didnt help him. Maybe 5 or so laps earlier, he had a chance for P1...

Happy result all round though in the end.

I wondered if the reason Max didn't back Oscar up to push Lando into LeClerc was more of a "I don't want Lando closer than he needs to be" decision. Could have worked.

Yuki's defense was lackluster, but I didn't expect him to put up the same fight Checo did against Hamilton. I will say that Charles' and Lando's double overtakes on Stroll and Lawson were impressive. Pretty sure Red Bull will remember that when it comes time to renew contracts.

All in all, I think I'm ok with the way it played out. Max and Oscar did everything they needed to do, Lando didn't take any extra risks and brought it home. It wasn't full of drama, but the three contenders were in it to the final lap.

Looking forward to winter testing to see how they've all handled the new rules package.

Piastri would not have won the WDC regardless. Yep, he likely should have pitted earlier...maybe could have pipped Max.
LeClerc made a good run at Norris, had me nervous for a sec...and thats me, Scuderia Ferrari and Charles being my guy.
Yuki was weaving so much and when he was like PENATLY?! WHAT!?! I was like...dude, yer kidding me.
I didnt see the Gasly penalty...black and white flag/track limits or something else?

Its gonna take a beat to get used to:

-No more Sauber
-Fucking "Cadillac" over other manufacturers past and maybe future like Lotus, Porsche, BMW
-22 cars on the track...really gonna be a shitshow on certain circuits even more, thankfully the cars are shrinking again, even if only slightly
-No more DRS
-Nore more ground effects
-Hamilton not being able to do shit the entire season (or most of it)...hope he re-energizes his soul and drive...and leadership at Ferrari listens and adjusts accordingly.
-The potential of RB, Merc, Ferrari, McLaren not being the top 4 in the new era...I said potential!
-Lando being the WDC...love him, but theres still better drivers who have suffered longer (especially looking at you Charles, but maybe also say Sainz) who are "more deserving" (based upon skill)
-Newey being a principal. I am expecting that to not go especially well...
-Not being on ESPN anymore here (for better or for worse, remains to be seen)
