LilKitKat's Second Cumming Thread 💦

In no particular order and very personal because it brings back memories of my dad and various girlfriends over the years.

Dolores O'Riordan - Zombie (Cranberries, but it was all Dolores)

Lucio Dalla's original Caruso

Lara Fabian's version of Je suis malade (she has a brilliant version of Caruso as well)

Julieta Venegas - Me Voy

Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb

Guns N' Roses - November Rain

James Blunt - Monsters (don't watch if you have lost your dad - you won't make it through it)

I like me some Cranberries. I do prefer some of their other tunes but she was so good!

Hahaha, one that always fucks me up is when someone is writing me and I TRY to write back "Hang on, I am busy"...but busy comes out as busty
hahaha

I sometimes get some funny emojis or whatever in response!
Oh my god that reminded me of a time when my phone unlocked in my pocket and sent someone some very questionable gifs that if that friend I hadn't been so understanding it might have ended that friendship 🙈

I will say I love the way your friends are quite liberal when it comes to their sexuality, in Ireland anything sexual can be a very dangerous game 😅

What are your FAVORITE SONGS of ALL-TIME?

Dont say you like it "a lot". It has to be a song that you absolutely love and is in your top 10(ish) faves of all time.
No explanations needed, if its some Nickelback bullshit, some song that reminds you of being a little kid, you can have a rap song and then a metal one and then country, I dont care. But what are 3, 5, 10 of your all time faves?

Here are a few of mine:

This is like, my anthem. It isnt my fave song of all time but probably in my top 5 and its my fucking anthem for sure.

This is basically the very first exposure I had to a combo of techno and rap and rock all fused together and its just a freakin great jam. Theres lots of different versions of this song. The one linked here is the one from the cd before the artists and producers all remixed it and put diff versions in shows and whatever. But THIS version is my jam.

In the running for my fave song all time for sure. Chvrches might be my fave band, and this song gets to me and I sing it loud and proud. The beat just builds and builds and builds and then it hits about 2 1/2 min and its awesome for dancing. Prob listen to it every single day. Top 3 song for me.

This song is just glorious and romantic and sad. Italiano perfetto.

A classic techno song that features "the voice of an angel". Yes yes, I know it was used in the freaking Mortal Kombat movie, and in Hackers and some other meh shows. I LOVE this.

The other major contender for my fave song of all time. I know U2 are "washed up" but this song, this version of it...is just...powerful, lovely, amazing, perfect.

Did you see "Anora" ?

It has a terrific use of "Greatest Day", and its a wonderful film, amazing acting, and yet...dont watch with your parents as it opens up with lots of titties and theres a couple sex scenes that may be awkward...

Movie gets two thumbs up from me!

Queen...great call on both of course!
Green Day's song is a terrific song.
Cats in thge cRadle wow, brings back some memories for me!

Huntrix! Haha! Wow!
Im not going to be surprised if Huntrix end up in my Spotify top 5 artists lol

And yeah Cats in the Cradle still hits me in the feels. Now more so since my Dad passed away years ago now.

I love that the GooGoo dolls thanked Ronan Keating for doing such a bad job of covering that song that it reignited interest in seeing it performed properly 😅

I agree, it's a wonderful movie. After watching it for the first time, I watched it again two days later =)
