Hey you! Just popped in to say hi!! Last I heard, you're starting your new job tomorrow. Hope that's still the case and that it goes better than expected! If you need spongy balls in your mouth....I have some I could offer up and they sorta come with their own milk if you so desire. 🤣 Not enough to fill a cup however....

My laptop comes tomorrow (supposed to start tomorrow...ugh) so it may be that they push my start date a day who knows.

Why would you suddenly think I need spongy balls in my mouth...was that a reference to something I missed above?!

Referring to your milk tea with boba. It has the weird balls of whatever they are doesn't it? You know I'm just teasing you. 😘

if you didnt know, or for anyone that doesnt know...thats what boba is.
its tapioca (but not custard). its kind of like a harder gelatin substance...has a slight flavor.
the "challenge" per se, for ppl that have not ever had it, is just getting it through yer brain that you drink the tea or slushie/smoothie or whatever type you want to get, and the straw is about 2x as wide, so it slurps up 1-4 of those little "balls" on most slurps. Which you dont immediately swallow, you chew.
So I am not sure why that "disgusts" certain people...I mean it isnt like a controversial vegetable that people would dislike, it isnt something that people have an allergy too like peanuts or whatever.
So if you enjoy drinking iced tea, strawberry smoothies, iced coffee, things like that, there is a good chance you would enjoy trying these. Tons of flavors, a very high percentage are high in sugar (so they are duh, sweet...not like some weird beet root juice or kale flavored smoothie or whatever)...a pretty popular one that I have gotten but dont often get is a brown-sugar milk tea. Thai milk tea is very popular and I often get that. If you ever have had thai iced tea, its that...but then you add boba to it. So...super high sugar content hahaha.
