I may be on the job search grind soon because my boss who owns the shop was trying to con me into getting a stake in the company.
I'm not the owner type for working.
My major beef with this would be that the two others do not possess my work ethic and there has been some damage done by the current owner that would take forever to fix, meaning any financial gains would take a while to see. So we'll see.
I did get to see my favorite barista after work before going home though, so there was a positive. 🥰🥰

I hope your search goes better Kit. You're too smart to be jobless for long. 💐💐💐

started off hilarious because the link once again didnt work
i was like...O M F G
i texted recruiter and she texted company and the person from company called me one min later. said she was having same issues.
so we did interview on phone.
good thing I put on a nice top instead of a t shirt. ugh. gonna change back in a sec.
anyway...
she was hella cool, we got along great. she said i am EXACTLY what they are looking for.
wants me to interview with her boss in a day or two
thats all PERFECT
only one bad thing
she said theyre interviewing others and one person theyre close with
so...

thats like...ok...if yer close tio maybe offering them then...no bueno for me!?
but they want me to still meet the boss?
so...am i giving them pause on the other person? or are they jsut doing due dilligence?
i msgd recruiter to find out
otherwise i fucking nailed it.

good job I always hated interviews because I could not seem to nail them

ok first off, its campy. Its James Gunn, so think Guardians of the Galaxy interpretation of Superman...its not Man of Steel which is more serious.
It is indeed super fun, funny in many parts. Its not going to win any awards for being a great movie, but its basically a perfect summer movie. Popcorn, laughs, some action, etc
Lots of recognizable cameos in medium to small parts:
Supermans mom is a "Westword" brothel worker
Superman's dad is...well...an oscar nominee
Mr Terrific is from "For all Mankind"
A surprise I wont name is from "House of the Dragon"
Some voices only are Alan Tudyk (Firefly, K2SO, King Candy, more), Pom Klementieff (MI most recent two, Guardians of the Galaxy, infinity war...) some more...

Anyway, we laughed, its just fun. Its not "Oppenheimer" or "Schindlers List"...or even "Anora" or "Conclave".
If you go in expecting a fun time like Guardians of the Galaxy, youll enjoy.
If you go in expecting something more like Man of Steel...youll maybe enjoy but be more disappointed (I loved Man of Steel btw...)

Way to go... does suck that they are potentially already close to closing, but that just means you need to show them why you're better :)

I’d more or less agree—- I liked this take on Superman as a character. I wish there’d been one or two less cgi action scenes and a bit more time at the daily planet and/or with his earth parents.
