I pretty much dont like anything Texas, but thats putting a blanket statement across a huge swath of people and area which is absolutely unfair. I have heard Austin is top shelf, and I have not ever been there.
As for the school...again, its whatever. I dont root for anything Texas and they arent my "rivals" or anything so its like..."whatever" for me, but would likely root for another team if it was Texas vs most any other school...though I dont see myself rooting for USC (if they play Texas) ever which is likely a given.

It’s just a school. Longhorns suck and definitely deserves to have a blanket put over it. Bevo it’s what’s for dinner.

I had a friend at work (old job, Intel) and he was a huge Texas fan. I printed out some paper with the Texas A&M logo on it and stuck it back into his personal printer and he kept printing paper out with the A&M logo on it. I never told him it was me and he was leaning over cubicles to figure it out. It was funny.

So yeah...I was recruited while in college to work for Intel. I was an intern there for a while and then right out of school worked there. But I heard about the impending layoffs and quit voluntarily ahead of time. My manager was mad and told me it was a big mistake. I mean, I get it, I interned there, then was hired full time and it would seem like I was jumping ship to a greener pasture...but I quit before layoffs to another place that paid about the same and found out a few weeks later I would have been cut. Intel is notorious for laying off 1000s every other year or so. Not sure how the hell they plan on ramping up and competing anymore with AMD and nVidia etc.
Regardless, Intel had some GREAT people there, and I really liked it...except for that one fucking bitch...fuck, I forget her name. She was super hot, but a total wench. But ahem, yes otherwise, great ppl and everything...except for layoffs ugh.

Shit, I wasn’t gonna say anything. Ain’t nobody claim you you’re your own woman. But definitely have fun and honestly sometimes hanging out with gay guys is fun as shit anyway. Some of the crap that comes out is just absolutely hilarious.

Hot summers suck everywhere. I never thought I'd move somewhere (willingly) where the summers hit 100+ degrees. I've worked outside for 20+ years and loved the cool air of the coast but I missed the sun. It was always foggy in Humboldt. I do enjoy having so many states so easily accessible since I'm only about two and a half hours south of Oklahoma. While OK itself isn't very exciting that I've found, I enjoy nature. Broken Bow Lake is very beautiful. I guess I just love exploring new places/states.
