I didnt mean loud in the bedroom hahaha but that can happen too!
I mean like...I can be loud and obnoxious, overly smart-alecky/sassy/sarcastic, I can be stubborn and also indecisive. I can be too blunt or honest but have improved a lot there to be fair to myself.
Most people love me or hate me...its just who I am.

Made a Spanish dish tonight. Arros amb crosta.
Saffron rice, garlic, thyme, rosemary, oregano, bay leaf...onion, carrots, tomato, with chicken thighs, sausage, mini sausage meatballs, egg, chickpeas...dayum it took a long time to make and boy was it delicious!

negative, I was hoping for the MAriners for the folliwng reasons:

1. Dodgers would have had home field. Not that it mattered vs the Yankees last year, vs the HPillies or Brewers this year...but jus sayin

2. East coast start times suck ass

3. Seattle was only team that had not ever been, would have been amazing.

4. George Springer is a fucking cheating douche canoe and I hope he tears his ACL in the first game

I dont hate the Jays. They are actually my 2nd fave team and only other team I actually cheer for.
But with Springer there, and since its against the Dodgers, then yes...rivals.

I truly do not understand why people bet against friends on sports.
One person will inevitably be unhappy in the end because their team lost.
That person will also have to fork over some money or some other favor to the winner, doubling the pain.
Neither person actually contributed to either team winning or losing.

There is no point.

You want the Jays. Congratz. In any other year/vs any other team Id be rooting for them as well.
They are playing my team.
So I am pulling for my hometown team.

But I dont like to rub salt in anyone's wounds nor be a butthurt thin-skinned wuss if they lose.
I know there is another user who may or may not lurk in my thread who actually quit talking to me and left my thread because I made a post back in June or something about the Padres.
There are actually a few Padre fans on here. One or two are very cool. This other individual took it personally and quit. Ive seen him on the baseball thread and one or two other threads.
Got all butthurt.
I lost all respect for him.
I dont carry myself like that.
Shake the hand of the winner, but dont be a sore loser. And the winner should shake the hand of the loser. Hopefully it was a good battle.

Well said! Most of my best friends do not like my teams but it brings us closer to make bets and pay up, shaking hands and remembering that it is all fun and games in the end. It is one thing to be salty; it is another to be a jerk.
