So I wasn't here to ramble at the previous thread...but I'm game. Only cuz I'm bored and my girl is sick so I have nothing to do and she's like puking and stuff and it makes me unhappy, and I wanna kiss her, but I'm pretty sure her breath would be weak right now...hmmm that'll do. How's that?

Nice It's wierd to see how lives have evolved and changed since the advent of the original thread. I think I'm the only one that has had really major changes though lol.

Yeah, it sure sounds like things have changed in your life! Its great, I'm glad you're working towards something that will make you fee more complete, too many people just moan about it without doing anything!

So, my ramble... My beautiful son told me yesterday that he's going to marry a man, because he doesn't like girls Its kinda funny, but I was so proud!! 5-year olds are so cool

Thank you very much. I'm working really hard to get to where I want to be in life. Now things are finally opening up for people like me. 2 or 3 years ago I wouldn't have been able to do this. There are plenty of sources for male to female transitions, but female to male is so rare.

Yes, I've also noticed that its uncommon for people to even *talk* about female to male, I always thought that was odd, because surely it happens a lot? I have long, rambing philosophies on why nobody thinks it's as interesting for girls to want this sort of change, but I'll save it for later

My son is beautiful, and I love that he is so open-minded about sexuality (unsurprising with two bi parents!), but I worry about school affecting him, especially in a crappy little town like this... hope I can continue to just explain things to him as he grows...

Yeah... There are only two doctors here in Austin that deal with FTM and they are VERY hard to find. I got extremely lucky! Most people I have talked to haven't had the best experiences in the beginning, but I came home from the appointment grinning from ear to ear.

I think your son will do fine. He will be much more understanding of people and less likely to discriminate or make fun of someone.
