letting yourself go

Gradually since I hit 40. It's not about the fact that men no longer find you attractive, it's about different priorities in life.

I've never taken better care of myself as I have since my late 40's. It's easy to not care when you're young. Now I exercise, watch what I eat and smoke more weed.
Yeah, you heard me.

Yes, it's a weird one.
When I was younger I had lots of insecurities about my appearance and weight. Even tho I never was outside of a normal BMI, my weight fluctuated and my self-image with it.

But now that I'm middle aged, I no longer care and things just seem to achieve their own homeostasis and I'm happier.

I was always gone. I'm waiting for the point in life when I'm not bothered by it and feel like I should shape up.

I still work too much. It takes a toll on time available for fun.

I have not purchased a print book in at least 6 months. I used to buy several every week.

Ditto. Working out, yoga, running, and smoking weed had done wonders for my life since hitting 40.

I'm probably in the best shape I've ever been in. I walk, I run, I lift, I eat right, and I keep up with the bodybuilding toyboy with the huge cock©.

Letting myself go in the physical way? I’ve always just not cared what others think of my body. Is it as tight as I like it to be? No, but I work out once a day doing something, I feel damn good most days, and my kegels are on point. So...no, but yes, but no.

Why do you ask, my beautiful friend?

I don’t consider it letting my self go, but I am embracing my silver hair. Don’t let them tell you that red hair doesn't go gray. My did very early.
