In this world people are constantly rushing around.
They can't seem to find the time to stop and really help themselves, let alone anyone else. You came into my life when it felt like everyone was rushing out of it. Dear Mom,
Another Mother's Day has passed and we exchanged no phone calls or cards. It has been two and a half years now (3 Mother's Days) and I really do wish I could say I miss you but I don't. I wish one thing for you and that is, for just one day, to feel bad for everything you've done to me over the years. I have spent my adult life thus far trying to figure out what I did so wrong that you, my own mother, could be so cold and I'm tired of it.
I have a family of my own now and there is nothing in this world either of my kids could do that would make me turn my back on them, nothing!

I am soo glad I could have such a positive impact on your life. You have come a long way and have the inteligence to go farther. It has been worth it as long as you got something out of it. I am so sorry for your loss. The loss of a child is never easy to bear. I haven't the words to express my sorrow and sympathy for you. Please know that I am always here. You both are wonderful people and deserve peace, love and happiness. Your days will be darker from now on but, hopefully you will see the light waiting for you at the end of this journey. Dear Landlord,
Please agree to let us stay on in this apartment. I'm not that pleased with the unit, truth be told. The family upstairs plays their music loudly until late hours at night. The construction from the expressway is also noisy and is possibly what is making me break out in hives. My bedroom gets the sun morning AND afternoon, so it's always hot in there. And the entire complex is just a bit too far from the shops for convenience.
Still, we've grown comfortable in this place after 2 years. We're not sure how long we'll be here because the economy is so shaky. It would be better to stay here. If we move now and then have to leave in 6 months, it will be more unsettling and tiring than necessary.
I know you want more money for the unit, but if you think about it...if you just take our rent flat out for the next year or two, it will even out. If we move out next month and the unit is unoccupied for 3 or 4 months while you try to find a new tenant, you will have lost that much rent anyway.
So, what do you say? Yes? No?

Have you given your landlord your proposal? Listing for them all the reasons its not a 5 star hotel. Chances are he could turn you down, but give him the chance to. If he does hold your head up and walk away knowing that you gave it one last shot. I dont know you personaly but from what Ive seen of your posts I bet you are a model tennant. Id bet thewalls arent torn up the carpet or hardwood isnt overly worn other than normal use. Now I could be wrong but Im betting the place is in decent shape. point that out in detail. Let them know you dont play your music as loud as some other tennants. Tell him why you are the perfect tennant or close to it, why the place isnt the Hyatt hotel. Anything else that may help your situation. Then ask him. "So would you like to go ahead and extend our lease under the flat rate?" Then be quiet. Never talk once youve asked for something. There is a term in sales called. "he who talks first looses" If he says rates are going up I have to charge more. another tactic in sales. "Agree/BUT/Close" Well I understand that the rates are going up BUT the place is run down, and its in a bad location. I mean I can hear the construction right through the walls. "So would you like to go ahead and extend our lease under the flat rate?" if he says yes great dont say any more about how bad it is just renew. if he says... Well Mia I can get tennants in here within months. who will pay a higher rate. Well you probrably could get them here in months BUT we take care of the place we arent loud etc. "So would you like to go ahead and extend our lease under the flat rate?" The only question you cant answer is not interested. then maybe you can say "well do you mind me asking why we pay our rent on time?"
This is just a little bit I picked up in marketing it may or may not help. I thought Id share on the off chance it did help you or anyone else. You may just end up talking him into it.

Dear Mr Mortician,
Hey,
I just wanted to say Thanks again. I really havent been
feeling well. Ive just been a little under the weather you could
say. Anyway I havent been able to rest here, and my aunt is
visiting, and my mom wants me to run errands, oh yeah and she
just got wood to redo the roof of the shed a couple days ago.
She wanted me to go out while it wasnt raining that hard yet and
put the wood against the house. Man is she clueless lol.
Anyway great set up here. I have been relaxing in this modern
bed I guess. It must have cost you a fourtune. Its great. Its got
privacy sides and a sun roof! Im even elevated off the ground to
keep me from getting sicker. Youve even managed to get most of
my friends to come and say hi. Some of them are people I havent seen in years. dont know how you pulled that one off. Alot of them look depressed though, but between me and you I just think they are a little jelous
